We primarily get chinese food from Chinatown but we found that Regal has a few dishes that aren't commonly found in other Chinese restaurants. Namely the fried pumpkin. It's deliciously. Their steamed chicken, while a common dish in many Chinese restaurants, is generally better tasting as well. Our kids also appreciate that they serve certain dimsum dishes at night.

This place is going downhill! Management or the captain need to step up and retrain everyone. Waitress was definitely on her period or having a bad day.

The BEST and most AUTHENTIC Dim Sum and Hong Kong Style Restaurant in Houston, thanks to Edmond for maintaining the tradition and flavor, our most favorite restaurant!!
My husband is a native Hong Kong and is a great cook. We are foodies! We have been dining with Regal for over a decade since it opened from the old location to this new one. It is all about quality and cooking techniques that make Regal Seafood standout. The cook brings the flavor of food to the finest, never overpowering the food with seasoning!
Their Dim Sum sizes are large and the Peking duck is amazing. We have had King Crab multiple times and it has always been cooked to perfection! The food and people there made us feel like home in Hong Kong. If you come mainly for high level service, this may not be the place.
We give our very highest recommendation if you want authentic HK food.

Great authentic Cantonese food and the best Peking Duck in Houston. Each time you order a duck, they will flame it right in front of you! If you order fish, they will showcase the live fish for you prior to cooking so you know it’s as fresh as can be.
Also be sure to ask for the egg custards for dessert. Again freshly made. Amazing goodness!

Bad service and disappointing food.
We reserved a table and called in beforehand to purchase a peking duck. When we came in and said we wanted the peking duck they said they did not have any. When we cleared up that we reserved it beforehand they said okay, but after we had ordered our food they claimed the duck had been “burnt”. They gave us coconut jelly as some sort of pardon for their subpar service. Not only that but the service was bottom tier from our waitress throwing straws down on our table without a word.

SLOW! They have no respect for your time and will take their sweet time. The restaurant was pretty empty too so it's not like they had too many tables to serve. I've been here a couple times in the past and it was always ridiculously slow so it's not due to the hurricane or anything. I always refrained from leaving a bad review in the past but this was the last straw. Service has never gotten better. Ended up telling us last minute that they don't have some of the items we ordered either. Food was decent, nothing special. Will not return.

They tried to steal our money by overcharging on multiple dishes and denied the dishonest prices. I’m surprised they still have so much business.

The Peking duck was way too skinny and not worth the money at all. Terrible service, and their prices weren’t honest. DO NOT COME HERE, DO NOT

Sketchy pricing (CHECK YOUR BILL) and if you don’t ask, they don’t give you the bonus dish with the Peking duck. Don’t order it. The duck barely has any meat anyways. Also no air conditioning while we were there. Clearly the owners are cheap and dishonest. Would NOT recommend.

They tried to overcharge us and denied that their menus were not accurate. The lobster was written to be 48.99, but they tried to charge us 58.99. The Peking Duck was 34.99, but they charged us 39.99. The Japanese Tofu was written to be 17.99, but it was charged as 22.99. They are stealing your money!!! They would not have changed this if we did not catch them. They are dishonest and they do not deserve even one star.
