Shayona Café Reviews
Both believers and tourists can find inner peace and seek spiritual guidance here.
Most sexist place I have been too. It was my birthday so I thought to go to a mandir and I was wearing a dress that was mid calf level and someone came upto me with a tie one Velcro skirt and told me “cover your knees” my knees are covered only half my calf is visible and there are men wearing shorts and no one told them to cover up so never going to this backward sexist place ever again. Rules should be for everyone not just women so horrible place never going back!!

Shayona Café is a charming eatery located near the BAPS temple, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful meal after visiting the temple. The service is exceptional, with prompt, friendly, and attentive staff. The café is known for its clean, fresh, and delicious food, especially for those who prefer vegetarian options. The cardamom Chai is a must-try, and the lunch buffet offers a variety of fresh and tasty options, including daal, paneer, bhindi, and homemade-style rotis. Visitors will find that the buffet is affordable for the quality and quantity of food provided.
While the café may not be a food destination in itself, the serene environment and the view contribute to a pleasant dining experience. It is important to note that Shayona Café does not use onion or garlic in its preparations, making it suitable for those with dietary restrictions, such as Jain and Swaminarayan options. The café is also kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible, with a wood ramp at the entrance.
Visitors should remember that the café is located on the BAPS temple property and can be accessed through Brand Lane. The temple welcomes everyone, but modest dress is required, covering shoulders and legs, and shoes must be removed before entering. No photography is allowed inside the temple.
Overall, Shayona Café offers a delightful dining experience with fresh and flavorful food in a calming environment. The café also has a gift shop that features a variety of food and snacks for those interested in trying new dishes.
