Omg there arent words to express the experience we had! Greeted by Uncle Honey himself when we walked in to his cozy and well maintained establishment. The dessert options 1000/10. Best banana pudding ive ever had in my life. And im a banana pudding connoisseur. We got the red velvet cake and tea cookies as well! I can't wait to come back for their breakfast! We live 40 min away but #worthit.

Go try the banana pudding cake!!! But if you have diabetes... stay clear! I spend at least $30+ every time I go. I bring some to Opelousas and my folks live the tea cakes.

The place was nice, clean and welcoming. We felt like we were at home. Although we did not sit and eat we picked up food and it was smooth and quick. The owner, Willie, came out to greet us and made us feel welcome. The front clerk was very nice and professional. I am looking forward to coming here again.

The breakfast was really good and the staff was great also! Had one of their lemon goey cakes and it was delicious! Will definitely be back.
Long story short I’ve been buying Unc Honey’s cookies for years now (when they use to deliver to pyburns) in a van BEFORE he had the bakery on 2234. He has always been professional, intelligent and very respectful. Sad to say I’ve had 2 BAD EXPERIENCES too many. Food take forever to come out but it is good. The 2 older sisters of his have the worse attitude, poor customer service and sarcastic disrespectful mouths. 1 argued with me in November over a pie that was PREPAID for today we had a party of 8, they got our order wrong then had the nerve to charge for their mistake while insisting it was our fault. Bye UNCLE HONEY love u lots but we won’t be back for my yearly deserts I order, weekly breakfast or daily tea cakes. Get rid of the 2 stumbling blocks and watch how your business grows

Had breakfast here after my grandson’s football game. Had never heard of this place, but I will definitely be back!!! The food was absolutely delicious!!! Was served hot and fresh … and most of all, it’s very affordable! Do yourself a favor and give them a try! You won’t be disappointed!
