Awesome true Texas dancehall. Beautiful setting. Friendly staff. Enjoyed a wonderful Saturday night with Bob Wills' Texas Playboys on stage - it doesn't get any better. Decent selection of ice cold beer and cocktails. Not much seating but who sits when you have great Western swing to dance to?! Can't wait for the next show.

My husband and I spent a few hours at Albert Icehouse a few weeks ago when we were in the area, and I'm so glad we stopped by. Live music, gorgeous live oak trees, classic bar options (lots of Texas beers), good service, a food truck, clean bathrooms, space to run and play? What's not to love? Albert Icehouse is one of those classic Texas spots - nothing fancy, but absolutely the best way to spend a beautiful afternoon. And only in Texas could a late December day (we were there on December 31!!!) be so beautiful that a day under the trees listening to live music with some beer is all I wanted. Check out their live music calendar and stop by for some music, beer, and R&R. I was home in Texas for about 8 days and the hours we were spent at Albert Icehouse were definitely one of the highlights of the trip.

Absolutely horrible!!! We drove up in a bus full of paying customers. We had a little music on and an employee ran up and told us the parking was only for the band, although parking never stated it was just for the band and we were only being dropped off. Not too big of a deal until another person ran up bent out of shape about our music and being dropped off. He said we needed to get out and we can’t bring in our own drinks in because I was holding an empty cup from our last bar on accident. He said I’m not mad at you its the driver, Well that’s my driver and no one should be yelled at like that. Absolutely rediculous. I understand the importance of these reviews and wouldn’t want to hurt a company so I’ll take this down as soon as something is done about the Bent Out of Shape TROLL! I’m sorry about this but was not welcomed at all with his “Concerns”!
