Chai Shai in Sugar Land has a favorite chai place with famous Kashmiri chai and bun kabob that is a go order every time. The staff are friendly, attentive and welcoming. Food is top notch and includes puff pastries, keema, anda quesadillas, mayo fries and a touch of Pakistan taste. The club sandwiches, both chicken and hunter beef, and shezan chicken patties are delicious. Tea selection is excellent and the patio with outdoor seating has a nice vibe. The Creamy Chicken Patties, garlic mayo fries, keema and paratha, and Chicken Khow Suey are a warm, flavorful comfort food experience. The Hunter Club Sandwich gets a big yes and the samosas are probably best in Houston. The chat has too much papri but the paninpuri chat and karak chai remain popular. Music and décor make a vibrant Pakistani culture vibe and the overall vibe makes you feel like a cozy corner of South Asia. Service is top notch even if sometimes slow. The restaurant is a must visit for great food and better vibes.
