“Regal has higher class of Chinese food. I use to travel to Toronto for better Chinese food. Regal got it in Houston now. Edmin the owner always have better and new dishes to serve us. But you must willing to pay the price. Regal's quality food is not the same as other Chinese restaurants on Chinatown.“

“Location a bit on the smaller side but ordered and served very quickly. Definitely a better experience than going to ocean palace and hoping the carts with what you want actually come by your table instead of sticking to larger sections before running out. Staff are kind and attentive, most dishes are a large portion for the price and quite tasty.
Only downside which isn't their fault is that parking in the shopping center they are located in can be hard to find as there are many many shops there and construction has made entry a bit haphazard as well.“

UPDATE: We came for dim sum. It was another good experience. The food was fresh and delicious. The push carts are a nice touch as they no longer exist where we live. We needed food for a family party and ordered a number of dishes from Ocean Palace. This restaurant was recommended by relatives who live in the area. Overall, we were happy with the dishes we ordered. The portions were decent, and the food had good flavor. Considering we order catering-style trays of food, it was pretty fresh and tasty. The Salt and Pepper Tofu was still somewhat crispy, which is hard to maintain when it traveled in a covered container. The sale and pepper flavors were good. The spice was just right. The Fried Shrimp with Walnut in Mayonnaise Sauce was very crispy, yet still tendered. They were not overcooked. We appreciated that the sauce was kept separately to maintain the crunch of the fried shrimp. The Salt and Pepper Fish Filet was crispy and moist. The fish was cooked just right. The salt and pepper flavors came through well. The Special Fried Rice was decent and consistent with other fried rice from any other chinese restaurant. The Sauteed Clams in Black Bean Sauce was fresh and delicious. The Fried Lobster in Salt and Pepper Seasoning was not overcooked. The lobster meat was good, and the flavors were impactful. The Fried Dungeness Crab in Dry Garlic was another nice flavor and different enough than salt and pepper that others enjoyed as well. Finally, the Rice Noodle with Beef and Chinese Broccoli was delicious and a personal favorite of mine. I appreciated a separate container of sauce, and they were generous with the sauce. I always find that most restaurants keep the sauce to a minimum. This place is better, and I was able to fully enjoy the rice noodle swimming in the sauce. The beef was decent, and each piece I had was very tender. We really enjoyed the dishes from“

“Been coming to Arco for a few years now, always an enjoyable experience for the most part.
Located in the H-Mart Plaza, parking can be a bit of a pain on busy weekends. The restaurant itself is decent size, with a number of private rooms on the left and good number of seating for all types of tables.
Service is typical chinatown efficient. Not necessarily friendly, but we're hear for good food and not fine dining. Ordered salt and pepper pork ribs, mapo tofu, beef chow fun, and some dim sum. Food came out within minutes nice and hot.
Mapo tofu decent flavor, not too saucy. Beef noodles were great, very filling and tender beef. However, the chop could be cut up into smaller bite sized pieces. Salt and pepper pork was a bit on the small size for the price, but great flavor with plenty of onions and peppers. The dim sum still some of the best in Houston and highly recommended.
4 stars as pricing has gone up and portion sizes“

“Had dim sum on a Saturday morning around 11.30am and there was no line at all. I’m more accustomed to the crazy lines at Fung’s kitchen but wanted to try this place out instead. Pleasantly surprised by the taste of most dim sum items!!! The ma lai gao did not use the right brown sugar so the color was off, but overall we liked it better than Fung’s kitchen. Would rather come back here if taste was the number one priority. Cheong fun was thinner here than at Fung’s. Beef ball and beancurd roll was way better here. Worth a try if you are a frequent Fung’s customer to determine which you like better.
They do not do pushcarts here though so that is a minus on the experience. Also, some parts of the restaurant had a weird smell.“

“The food was delicious but the Customer Service was lacking. There was three in our party, luckly I reviewed the charges and the waitresses added an 18 percent tip. Customer beware but I recommend this place because the food is very delicious.“
