“Stopped by after dinner for dessert. My usually go to is the soft serve. You can get this different ways this time around I got the upside down Ah Boong (served in a cup). Many flavors to choose from but I like the basic vanilla with Nutella fill. Ice cream is soft and not too sweet, the Nutella adds that extra sweetness and the Taiyaki balances the two flavor profiles with soft and chewy.

The rest of the family prefers the Taiyaki Nutella 5 pack, which is their go to.

I went during the grand opening a while back and they use to have the chairs but the place is so small there’s only stand up counters. We usually just hang outside because there’s one of those city container park right up front.“

“We were looking for a Korean restaurant and found this on Google maps with very high reviews and this restaurant did not disappoint at all was very happy with the amount of condiments that were provided inside dishes It was freshness to all of the dishes and also the kimchi vegetables were very well done. The Korean fried chicken was delicious and the house sauce and the hot and spicy sauce were also very delicious. The other corn cheese was good would have liked to have a bit more but it was good and the spring rolls were also good.“

This one though. Top notch. One guy working and i out my order in but didn't get a number. Told him and he saw the printer wasn't working. Asked me my order and took my name so he could call me up when ready. Also he fixed the printer and was answering all the people's questions while cooking.

Probably 15 people here at the time. He did a great job. Guess i will drive a little further to get these when i want one.“

“I love this spot I can eat here every weekend lol. Every time I decide to go and explore some other Korean restaurant I always end up here for my comfort food. Their beef, seafood and chicken bibimbap is just to die for. It comes in a small hot pot and stays hot till the last bite. I always miss and come back to this place because the owners are sweet, and they would remember me asking why it's been so long since I have visited them. “The vibes here are amazing! Main interior is tastefully decorated with a giant screen playing music videos. Ken helped with our karaoke room reservation and was very helpful and friendly as the rest of the other servers. Our medium room was spacious with plenty of room to stand in front of the table to dance and sing. The tables aren’t pushed up against the booth seats so people can still get up and go without everyone having to get out. Room had a Korean TJ karaoke machine with a great sound system setup, but you can also connect a device to their TV through YouTube for more flexibility. My party had so much fun and we can’t wait to come back!“

“Don’t tip for take out as they don’t know you tipped and don’t do anything for you. I gave 20% tip and since it was raining plus had a little kid we wanted to stay but the acted like we were unpaid guests. Gee, we paid the same as everyone else.“

“When I tell you this establishment has some of the best tasting Korean chicken in America, I mean it. This place never fails to have the crispiest, and most flavorful chicken and it is addicting!! Their spicy galbi wings and kimchi fried rice are always my go-to as a frequent customer, and it is always filling and delicious. Great and quick service and overall great quality!“

“My review will be somewhat biased because I’ve been coming here for years with my Dad since it’s so close to work and it’s relatively unknown. It’s a no frills restaurant/convenience store. The original owner used to cook all the dishes herself but with age, she’s trusted the restaurants to her stewards who have been with her for decades. They’ve done a great job continuing the cooking technics and quality of taste. The kimchi is still made fresh in-house as are all their banchan. I’ve had everything on the menu but never took pictures. Their braised short ribs are so succulent. Their jjampong, although not filled with as much seafood as in the past, is still solid and the taste is nostalgic for me. Spicy yet flavorful. All their dishes are solid. Still a favorite of mine, when I need a quick and home cooked meal.“

“Have been here for several times! Food is legit and authentic! Service is good too! The Jokbal and Bossam are “must-order”s. Kukbam and haejuntang are also yummy. Big portion with decent price - I can’t see any complaints about this place.

I saw that most bad reviews were about the “slow service “ during the soft opening, which I also have experienced the 1st time I stepped into this restaurant. BUT now they are extremely professional and friendly! Way to go JangChoongDong!“

“I always order the Basa fish with black pepper sauce, and this time was just as good as the previous times.

Loved the chicken with 3-flavor sauce, and super happy with the amount of Thai basils in there. My son, who was so Americanized and preferred his pizza and pasta, also loved and devoured this dish with rice! I also really loved their pickled daikon (one of the two free side dishes) - very refreshing with a hint of spice.

I wouldn't order the sizzling Kalbi beef again even though it was tasty, but a bit overly salty. It was well mechanically tenderized with much fat. Instead of paying $16.99 for a few pieces of this, I rather get a tofu dish next time.

The free dessert soup with mini tapioca was refreshing.
