“We were looking for a Korean restaurant and found this on Google maps with very high reviews and this restaurant did not disappoint at all was very happy with the amount of condiments that were provided inside dishes It was freshness to all of the dishes and also the kimchi vegetables were very well done. The Korean fried chicken was delicious and the house sauce and the hot and spicy sauce were also very delicious. The other corn cheese was good would have liked to have a bit more but it was good and the spring rolls were also good.“

“So i had to come here after the other one turned me away during business hours. I get it young dude didn't want to clean the fryer again but dude it was 18 minutes before close.

This one though. Top notch. One guy working and i out my order in but didn't get a number. Told him and he saw the printer wasn't working. Asked me my order and took my name so he could call me up when ready. Also he fixed the printer and was answering all the people's questions while cooking.

Probably 15 people here at the time. He did a great job. Guess i will drive a little further to get these when i want one.“

““The beef tofu soup pairs beautifully with the steamed rice, creating a comforting and well-balanced meal. The beef bulgogi, while tender and flavorful, was slightly over-seasoned for my personal taste. Nonetheless, the overall dining experience was excellent and more than adequate in quality.“

“Stopped by after dinner for dessert. My usually go to is the soft serve. You can get this different ways this time around I got the upside down Ah Boong (served in a cup). Many flavors to choose from but I like the basic vanilla with Nutella fill. Ice cream is soft and not too sweet, the Nutella adds that extra sweetness and the Taiyaki balances the two flavor profiles with soft and chewy.

The rest of the family prefers the Taiyaki Nutella 5 pack, which is their go to.

I went during the grand opening a while back and they use to have the chairs but the place is so small there’s only stand up counters. We usually just hang outside because there’s one of those city container park right up front.“

Ping (the lady that took my order and helped me through the process) was amazing!

“We ordered the spicy galbi wings, galbi wings, Cole slaw, sweet potato fries, fried dumplings. This was our first time eating at this location. We’ve eaten at bbq Korean chicken in Austin, Katy, and in the Houston area. Their wings never fail. You can taste their freshness (not the reheated taste)and they are served hot. They’re crispy and the galbi sauce is delicious. The sweet potato fries could’ve been crispy and less burnt. The fried dumplings had great taste and they were fried just right! And oh!! They have Soju!!🥳“

“I have been going here for years before kpop got popular, and before all the spots opened up in Katy Asian Town. I always miss and come back to this place because the owners are sweet, and they would remember me asking why it's been so long since I have visited them. I always crave the light and refreshing naengmyeon here. I also got the nakji bokkeum and kimchi bokkeumbap to bring home. Love this place“

“I came to YukDaeJang one evening near closing time. The employees didn't look like they want to serve me. There were a couple of tables of customers there. But they probably had a long day. I don't blame them. Food was ok. The waitstaff took wrong order. But it's ok.“

“When I tell you this establishment has some of the best tasting Korean chicken in America, I mean it. This place never fails to have the crispiest, and most flavorful chicken and it is addicting!! “My review will be somewhat biased because I’ve been coming here for years with my Dad since it’s so close to work and it’s relatively unknown. It’s a no frills restaurant/convenience store. The original owner used to cook all the dishes herself but with age, she’s trusted the restaurants to her stewards who have been with her for decades. They’ve done a great job continuing the cooking technics and quality of taste. The kimchi is still made fresh in-house as are all their banchan. I’ve had everything on the menu but never took pictures. Their braised short ribs are so succulent. Their jjampong, although not filled with as much seafood as in the past, is still solid and the taste is nostalgic for me. Spicy yet flavorful. All their dishes are solid. Still a favorite of mine, when I need a quick and home cooked meal.“

“When shopping we have stopped in to grab a bite to eat a few times & enjoyed it each time. The bulgogi bbq, tteokbokki & mandu are all pretty good. They are a little pricey but not so pricey that we won't order, haha. Tasty snacks.“

“Have been here for several times! Food is legit and authentic! Service is good too! The Jokbal and Bossam are “must-order”s. Kukbam and haejuntang are also yummy. Big portion with decent price - I can’t see any complaints about this place.

I saw that most bad reviews were about the “slow service “ during the soft opening, which I also have experienced the 1st time I stepped into this restaurant. BUT now they are extremely professional and friendly! Way to go JangChoongDong!“
