“Six Ping Bakery has more locations. I only visited this one and I like it very much. The bakery offers many choices of Chinese pastries—some styles I have never seen before. The lady who works there is very helpful. She recommends a few pastries to us which are very yummy. The bakery is nice, clean, and organized. Outdoor seating is available if you want to enjoy the food there.“

“What sweet customer service! I came here with my dog who waited outside. The owner said bring the dog in and she immediately offered him hotdog but we kindly refused because it contained pork. Then she offered a sweet bun, which my dog ate happily. Sweet lady with a nice heart. We bought almond cookies and coconut cream cake. Lovely place!“

“The cake is so awesome... I would definitely recommend to everyone to go to this bakery... absolutely delicious!!!“

“Welcome to the iconic Six Ping, a beloved Taiwanese bakery that has delighted Houstonians with its Taiwanese-style cakes and pastries for decades! Now, the bustling original location in Chinatown has expanded its menu to include delightful Taiwanese-style breakfast and street foods.

Perusing the menu is like stepping back in time, evoking sweet childhood memories of enjoying steaming bowels of hot peanut rice milk, pancake with fried eggs, tea eggs, and delectable rice balls for breakfast. Each bite is a comforting taste of home—so simple, yet so authentically delicious.

The friendly and efficient staff making my family feel warmly welcomed. It's exciting to know that a treasure trove of my favorite childhood foods and drinks is just a short drive away. Treat yourself to a culinary journey at Six Ping, where the flavors of Taiwan come alive right in the heart of Houston!“
