The thing that sold me on this joint was the customer service! The main cutter, he's there for lunch just about every day... one of the friendliest guys you'll meet. The ladies running the line always have a smile on their face and friendly! Ha... foods great also.

TERRIBLE FOOD—- The worst Soulman BBQ I’ve ever tasted. Van, TX. has some of the best BBQ! They actually put their meat on the grill. This place in Sulfur Springs, TX. does NOT.
DON’T STOP AT THIS LOCATION!!!! KEEP DRIVING—- SAVE YOUR TIME!!!

Got the pulled pork combo pork was little dry but had good flavor got 2 sides photo salad and baked macaroni did not like potato salad had a weird taste and Mac was way over cooked to me was just overpriced average bbq with crappy sides will not return.

Great place to eat at

The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself looked amazing. My only issue was that the air conditioner was leaking water and dripping on me during my visit. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Stopped Sunday afternoon on our way home from Rangers game at Sulpher Springs store. $17 for 2 pulled pork sandwiches. Probably not even a half pound of meat on both. DRY AND CHEWY! Fed them to my dog when I got home. Done with Soulman's.

Wonderful. Im a major fan. The fried cabbage 😋 😍. The meats were amazing. The mac-n-cheese amazing. Great experience 👍 . Even a prayer box. ( For those who need or ask for prayer. ) God Bless.

We are passing through town and staying locally and decided to order dinner from the Sulphur Springs location and every single items was AMAZING. Sausage, pulled pork, beans, fried cabbage, cream corn and potato salad. I wish we had a soul man’s bbq in Florida!!

I had a great experience at Soulman’s Bar-B-Que. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. Christina T did an outstanding job recommending the Boss Hog special sandwich—she absolutely sold it, and it did not disappoint. The entire team went out of their way to make sure my visit was enjoyable from start to finish. I actually have a Soulman’s location much closer to home in Van, but the service and overall experience in Sulphur Springs far surpass it. I’ll definitely be back.
