Really good bagels here—nice texture and flavor. The cookies are great too, soft and not overly sweet. Everything tastes fresh, and you can tell they put care into what they make. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Best bagels in Austin hands down. Chewy and perfect. Keep it simple and get a toasted bagel with schmear. My favorite combo is the jalapeño bagel with roasted garlic schmear.
Their sweets are also delicious! Chocolate rugelach and cinnamon rolls especially.

Soooo delicious. We shared the kimchi tuna melt and spicy turkey sando - both were out of this world. Fresh bread, fresh ingredients, and both equally unique and delicious.

I approached this bagel spot with skepticism; after all, it wasn't your typical puffy bagel but rather a sourdough-based one. However, upon recommendation from my East Coast friends, who insisted this was one of the top three bagel spots I absolutely had to try after numerous disappointments, I decided to give it a shot. And boy, was I glad I did!
The Bagels: Absolutely delicious and NY approved. The sourdough base imparts a unique, tangy flavor that elevates the bagel experience to new heights.
The Ambiance: The interior of this spot is charming, with a welcoming vibe that makes you feel like you've walked into a little slice of New York. The decor is tasteful, providing a perfect backdrop for enjoying your meal.
Service:The staff here are lovely - friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their service adds to the overall positive experience.
The Lox Spread: Simply divine. Well-packed, fresh, and perfectly made, it complements the sourdough bagels wonderfully, creating a harmonious blend of flavors.
After visiting four different spots that left me disheartened with their subpar "NY-style" bagels, which felt more like they were sourced from a 24-hour deli or worse, Costco, this place was a revelation. It's clear that here, they understand what makes a bagel genuinely New York - it's not just about the claim but the quality and authenticity.
This bagel spot is an excellent find in the South, offering a slice of New York that's both surprising and satisfying but just a bit different.

BEST CINNAMON ROLL EVER!! Their sourdough-based cinnamon roll is the best I've ever had (big fan so I've tried many). Their bagels and sandwiches are also phenomenal - can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Plus, their staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is great - cafe space feels new and a solid spot for hanging out!

Came here for a bagel and a cookie after hearing great things. Unfortunately I was very disappointed having to wait 26 minutes for the bagel to be toasted and was further disappointed at the mediocre quality of the cookie. Overall the food is decent at best but not worth the wait, most likely will not be coming back any time soon

I visited Casper Fermentables and ordered the cinnamon toast, but it was not good at all. On top of that, I had to wait 25 minutes for something so simple. The staff seemed disorganized and unprofessional, which made the experience even worse. Honestly, I’m not sure why the reviews for this place are so high. Based on my visit, it doesn’t live up to the hype. I won’t be coming back.

Just finished eating here on a Sunday afternoon.
I had a bagel craving and went to this place because it’s rated one of the top bagel places in Austin.
We ordered:
1x Jalapeño Bagel w/ Jalapeño cream cheese
1x pizza bagel
1x cinnamon roll
Price $20
Jalapeño bagel - we actually received a normal bagel not a jalapeño one. The bagels were so flattened they had the volume equivalent of half a bagel, and were super hard, almost dense stale tasting. The jalapeño cream cheese was sweet.
Pizza bagel - also extremely flat. When you go to a bagel shop, you look forward to fat, fresh bagels. These are the volume of half a bagel you get in a grocery store. Very salty. Looks like something a child would make in an easy bake oven.
Cinnamon roll - great value for the size, it’s the one thing that’s massive. It is extremely dry though and not warmed. They do have these prepped so when you order they hand it to you right away, but I would rather wait a few mins for a not dry and warmed cinnamon roll at this price. I ate a few bites and probably will toss the rest.
Wait time - this is what shocked us. There wasn’t a line at all when I ordered, and there was tons of staff working, but we waited over 30 mins to get our bagels delivered by curt staff. We went to get bagels for a quick in and out bite and the entire process took over an hour which I’ve never experienced at a bagel shop.
There’s a good amount of outdoor seating and some seating inside. Parking lot gets full. Won’t be back.
