Their menu features delicious options like fried mushrooms, supreme nachos, and fried cheesecake for dessert. One of their standout dishes is the chicken fried steak, which is crispy, well-seasoned, and tender, with generous portions at a fair price. The chicken fried steak was truly one of the best tasting chicken fried ever had. Burgers, tenders, and fried pickles are also pretty tasty and well seasoned. Sides like mashed potatoes, green beans, pinto beans, and Cole slaw are also well-received. The food was very good, and prices are average. The restaurant was slammed, and all the waitresses were extremely busy, but the service was friendly. The bathrooms could use a good scrubbing, and the area with picnic tables could have used a few more lights. Despite some issues, this restaurant is highly recommended for those craving Texas-style comfort food.
