I would prefer to say that this place is not good so it doesn’t get ruined by invading hordes of Samsungians but I can’t. Might be the best burger I have had East of I-35 and the onion rings were perfectly battered. No nonsense, comfortable , local country “bar” vibe that I passed daily without knowing how great it is. Looking forward to some steak, both grilled and country fried!

Omg!!! When I say AMAZING I mean it. This place set back and off the beaten path but it is worth the trip.. the food came out quick and hot and the flavor and quality is top notch.. the chicken fried steak could be cut with a fork it was so tender.. The cabbage!!!!!! Lord have mercy it was so goood. This place really feels like a warm hug from grandma!

Heard a lot about this place from coworkers. We went today 8/12/2025 11:00AM. I ordered the special, Chicken Fried Steak w/2 sides. Steak breaded nicely thank god that is all I ate. 7 bites and I had enough of trying to eat the meat. Meat was tougher than Bull Hide. Fries and mash potato's were great. Cold Dr Pepper, Service was excellent though. Coworker had steak fingers and same results Chewy fingers. As you will see in my picture the pieces I tried to chew through. If...
