Back in the day, when we lived in Belton in 2010-11, this was my husband’s favorite place for a burger! We visit every year or so, when/if we’re in the area. Sadly, we felt like the food had declined. We always worried about this cute little place, seemed out of the way but always fresh and delicious! This last time, however, everything was just meh, and we probably won’t return so we only keep the memories of times past.
The woman working the counter today? Absolute sunshine wrapped in human form. Like—her vibe? Immaculate. She made the whole place feel warmer just by existing in it. Friendly, genuine, and just effortlessly kind. I don’t know what her name is, but her aura is glowing and I hope she gets everything she wants in life. Big Chew Chew’s, y’all better treat her right, because she’s the reason I’m coming back.
I never post but I just had the best hamburger and onion rings I have had in a long time. Best in all of Texas. Super fresh all around, meat hot and juicy and vegetables crisp! Going back very soon maybe tonight!
