ONE OF MY FAVS!! Everything here is yummmm!! Not my first visit and def not my last! On this trip, I had a pani puri party with the shots, along with the paneer saag, lamb kabobs, and goat curry with the Texas naan (naan infused with jalapeño). The naan is so fresh and delish that I’ve stopped by before just to order the naan. Definitely a MUST!

Best Indian food I've had in texas. When I first came to the state in 2011 Indian food was still quite a oddity but this place is first class. Ideal date night if you both like curry. I went alone. Delicious. Samosas were massive! The flavors are very delicate which is refreshing especially here. I'd love to come back. Well done guys!

The Curry Goat is AMAZING! The Lamb, not so much. I thought I was going to get a traditional tender and flavorful lamb dish, instead it was a lamb kabob that tasted like processed lamb sausage. Stick with the curry goat.

Some dishes were ok. But overall, I'm not impressed. I ordered the lamb kabob (in the picture), it was so salty I couldn't eat it, it ended up in the trash can ... and it didn't come with neither rice or bread. The pani puri was flavorless and soggy.I liked the Delhi samosa chaat. The butter chicken was ok.It's overly priced for the quality and the portions of food.

We are "foodies" and I want to say upon arrival I was a little worried. We finally were seated in a comfortable area... First table literally barley enough to have a cocktail. Asked for water while getting our cocktails... um HORRIBLE! Asked for bottle water... they didn't have any. Our darling waitress brought us some more it was drinkable. Cocktails came ... ehhhh. Ok waited 34 mins for our appetizers. Here is where things turned for the better. It was AMAZING! Chick peas whew yummy. Chicken chilli perfecto! Dinner to follow, chicken Marsala definitely a winner. Butter chicken delicious. Naan authentic. Lease to say be patient, definitely worth the drive and collectivity made our date night memorable and wonderful. Will refer but don't go "starving!" You will leave full.

Indian cuisine is presented in a classy setting with excellent choices for drinks. They have chosen to keep a small menu for each section, but everything is very well made.I really hope they would open a location in Austin ?

I was happy when this place reopened after renovations. The service and ambiance are nice. The taste of the food has changed, but the new recipes are good too. On this visit, I had the Pani Puri, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Roti.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. It's a bit more pricy than what I'm used to, but I think that's fine considering the work that goes into Indian cuisine. I loved all the food. I got deep-fried chickpeas. Those were awesome. I loved the herb mix they used on top. It was some kind of leaves and cumin seeds, slightly spicy and so delicious. I got the chicken Tikka Masala. It was delicious. The sauce was very flavorful and warming. The spice level was perfect for me, although I didn't eat the sliced jalapeños it came with lol. The naan...omg was awesome. I got the texas Naan with jalapeños. It tastes fresh and crispy, yet soft. It was delicious. My only complaint was that I didn't much like the large pieces of pepper in the Tikka masala. They were sort of crunchy. Other than that, everything was perfect for me. Our waitress Koellie was very sweet and helpful and checked on us. It was a great experience. I would definitely go back.

I hardly give five stars, but this place's food is phenomenal! This is a hidden gem in the town/city of Temple, TX. If you like indian food, you will truly enjoy eating at Bombay Central. The dishes are packed with flavor and the spices do not make you feel uncomfortable. Also, they aren't greasy, too salty or flat. The atmosphere is elegant, exotic and very clean. If you stop by, don't leave without trying the PANIPURI appetizer! It's an Indian street food and an amazing surprise explosion in your mouth, which you will never forget. The prices are also not too bad. The only thing that can improve is the waiters as they need to be more welcoming and knowledgeable about the different dishes. This place is our favorite in the middle of Central Texas when it comes to Indian cuisine.Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegetarians!

Probably the best Indian food in the Temple/Belton area. My wife and I went on a Friday night. There was a bit of a wait because they were very busy, but it was well worth it. Will definitely be back again. We got the Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken this time. Everything on the menu is good though.

Not too long after moving to Temple, I heard friends and colleagues raving about a new Indian restaurant, and although I was initially skeptical, my visit to Bombay Central proved me wrong. Being Indian myself, I was looking for aromatic flavors, spiciness, and a true cultural dining experience, and Bombay Central delivered on all three! We sat at the bar, which gave us a view of the TV with Bollywood music videos playing. They had a fun selection of unique Indian drinks, so I ordered a Bombay Bramble and loved it! My boyfriend and I ordered the chili chicken and gobi Manchurian for starters then garlic naan and chicken tikka masala for dinner. To end our delicious meal, we ordered the gulab jamun and mango kulfi, and both were some of the best Indian desserts I've had at a restaurant.I was honestly shocked at how great the food was but am very happy it was. We also sat at the bar and had excellent service not only by our server but also by other staff coming in and out of the kitchen. If you're looking for a cozy date night out, Bombay Central is your place!

I no longer can recommend this restaurant. I'm writing this in between bouts of food poisoning. This used to be one of my wife's favorite places to go but our experience yesterday closed that door for good. To start, there was mold growing on our menu. We should have left at seeing that horrific lack of hygiene. Next, we ordered the samosa appetizers. They arrived burnt and unseasoned. For entrees we ordered butter chicken. The chicken had a slimy texture that I presumed was just fatty pieces but now painfully realize was likely rotten or spoiled. Service was good. Our server was friendly and helpful.Lastly, there was a distinct smell of raw sewage wafting through occasionally so even the ambiance was lacking. Overall, I would highly recommend you do not go here until the health department gives them a visit and helps them get back up to par. It is not worth your health and safety.

Not understanding how this got 4.5 stars it's got no flavor. It's don't even compare to roopas kitchen in temple. Won't be going back on top of that it's more expensive than the other joint in town
