I ordered a barbacoa torta and it was pretty delicious. Their horchata was fantastic, not too sweet and not grainy. It was a wonderful experience coming here. I would definitely recommend eating here at least once.

First time there a few weeks ago and as soon I walked in I was like hey, this use to be a Pizza Hut. Good food and good service, but the hot sauce gotta be a little more hot and thick.

Taco Carbon or Crispy Tacos... Do both...
But also try the Queso Compesto.

El Sombrero Tapatio is a typical, small Mexican restaurant with traditional dishes, plus some surprising ones. My husband had mentioned, while I tried a new dish called Queso Flameado. If you follow me, you know I love cheese, and this was literally a skillet of melted cheese with a choice of meat and Pico de Gallo. It was delicious. If you want to treat yourself, give it a try.
Had the eggs rancho, the food was made the way I like it, crispy potatoes, the beans were fine, the eggs, and salsa was a good combo, not too spicy. The coffee had a nice flavor. The only downside is that the tortillas were store bought.
It's been forever long since I could find a taco place that made tacos just the way they do back home! This might be my new favorite taco place. 🥰😋 I only ordered out, but I can't wait to dine in and try out the rest of the menu!! 💙
