El Puerto de Jalisco is a great place for a variety of Mexican dishes. The 5 mini tacos with beef fajita meat and chiro beans are very good, as well as the shrimp with Chipotle sauce. Breakfast tacos are a go-to option, especially the sausage egg and cheese. The salsa options, red and green, are fresh and mostly mild. The el pastor might not be the best choice, but overall, the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The restaurant may appear small from the outside and is not fancy, but the food is outstanding. Guests can enjoy a meal and look out at the golf course from the back patio. The medium margarita is larger than usual and consistently excellent, making it a favorite among customers. Two wonderful servers are often seen checking in on guests, providing attentive and friendly service.
