Fantastic food! I took my mom for her birthday and everything we ordered was amazing. Generous portions, delicious dishes and a fantastic dessert. We will definitely return :)

Why has it taken me so long to discover La Riv Kitchen & Bar? Last week I met a friend for lunch here. I loved it so much, I met two more friends today. On my first visit we shared the wedge salad. I was a little skeptical at first because it has bleu cheese on it. I'm not a fan of bleu cheese, but wanted to be a good sport, so agreed to trying it. Grilled romaine, candied bacon, cherry tomatoes, and bleu cheese works. Who knew? During the same visit, I had Bolognese rigatoni and my friend had the shrimp scampi. Both were large portions and we each took a 'doggy bag' home. I couldn't stop thinking about the wedge salad, so today, two more friends and I met for lunch. This time they were unsure about ordering a salad with bleu cheese on it, but at my insistence they gave it a go. Yep. They loved it too. In addition we ordered pizza. One would have been enough to share, but at the advice of our server, we each got one and once again I had food to take home. I got the vegetarian, one friend got the Margherita and the other got the pepperoni. We agreed the pepperoni was our fav. Next time, we will share the salad and a pepperoni pizza. Loved the chew on the chargrilled crust and the ratio of toppings to cheese to sauce. We also ordered a margarita each and thought it was well made. La Riv has great food, ambience, and service. I look forward to bringing the Mr. here for date night soon!

Nice cocktails but the food was terrible. The shrimp scampi was water down and over cooked. I wouldn't recommend because how difficult is it to cook noodles and shrimp.

A somewhat limited menu in terms of entrees (we were there for lunch; not sure if the dinner menu is more extensive), but excellent food. We split a Wedge Salad, and it was as good as any salad I’ve had. They char the Romaine, then add bacon and a great dressing (not sure what). My wife and I both had the short ribs with pasta, and our co-diners both had the Shrimp Scampi. All “A+” !! The Bread Pudding is unique and very good. The wine list is also small, but includes some very good choices. Service was extremely attentive and friendly without being obtrusive. The piano player made for a perfect backdrop; the dining room is small and it was very quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Will definitely be back, and can’t wait to do so!!

This place is genuine Italian cuisine and we will be dinning here a lot. Their chef crue are impeccable at what they do. Restaurant space is splendid. The atmosphere and the service is great. The food was superb. Perfection!

If you want a BAR then this is IT. It's old school barstools and jukebox the barmaid are outstanding and can handle the regulars like pros. Ìt always smells and looks clean too. EVEN THE MENS ROOM ID CLEANER

This was incredibly disappointing. There were six of us so we had a broad selection to experience. They charge like a gourmet restaurant. The prices are outlandish for what you get and the quality. We ordered Caesar salad (a medium size plate of mostly lettuce) for $10 but chicken breast (5-6 bite size pieces) were $6 extra and croutons (roughly 5) were a dollar extra. A small mac and cheese (the size of a creme brulee) was $12 and nothing special regarding taste. They serve little more than a thin sliced tomato with a NY Strip Steak which was good but certainly not special for $38 (Get same or better quality for half the price at Texas Roadhouse). When I asked for bread, it was a dollar per thin slice of burnt French bread. The Braised short Beef Ribs meal was literally 4 bite size pieces of meat with about 2 tablespoons of macaroni cooked in a broth ($22 each). Even when we mentioned that we were there to celebrate a birthday, the waitress joked that she would sing Happy Birthday for $5. It is clear that quality and value are not the signatures of this facility. I have been to many fine restaurants. This is certainly not one of them.
