Why has it taken me so long to discover La Riv Kitchen & Bar? Last week I met a friend for lunch here. I loved it so much, I met two more friends today. On my first visit we shared the wedge salad. I was a little skeptical at first because it has bleu cheese on it. I'm not a fan of bleu cheese, but wanted to be a good sport, so agreed to trying it. A somewhat limited menu in terms of entrees (we were there for lunch; not sure if the dinner menu is more extensive), but excellent food. We split a Wedge Salad, and it was as good as any salad I’ve had. They char the Romaine, then add bacon and a great dressing (not sure what). This place is genuine Italian cuisine and we will be dinning here a lot. Their chef crue are impeccable at what they do. Restaurant space is splendid. The atmosphere and the service is great. The food was superb. Perfection!
