Excellent food, excellent service.
A recent remodel make it 'interesting' fir people who have been there before but it doesn't affect the quality of the food - excellent - or service.
Almost without exception the food is good and the service is too.
Choriso and eggs is my 'wake up' call.
What a wonderful surprise! Unprepossessing from outside, everything inside was a good as it gets. The food was abundant, delicious and inexpensive, the room informal and comfortable, and the service extraordinary, prompt and helpful.
Colleen, especially, changed night into day for us, strangers just coming in for dinner and looking for a place to spend the night after a horrible experience at the RV park across the street.

Chili Pepper Cafe is a casual, friendly restaurant offering delicious and generously portioned meals. The woman working there is welcoming and polite. Standout dishes include the chicken burrito, chicken enchiladas with green sauce, tamales, and tacos. Prices are reasonable, making it a great place to rehydrate with a drink and enjoy some nachos. A meal for two costs around $48, but it's worth every penny. The cafe is consistently open and kid-friendly. They offer really good guacamole, and the red chili was delicious, with the best enchiladas guests have had in a while. The Mexican omelet was fantastic, the stuffed chicken delicious, and the tortillas fluffy. Everything is seasoned well and very tasty. Tamales were excellent, and crispy chicken tacos were good. Their lemonade and sweet tea are a must-have. Everyone is very friendly, and the service was great. For breakfast, the biscuits were heavenly, so soft and fluffy. The burger was massive and delicious.
