“Its just a mom and pop joint it's not for the atmosphere. The pizza is spectacular. I got. A pizza from dominos and was having guests and it was just terrible. So I called them for another pizza and this is where I will be going from here on when I want a good pizza. 10 toppings 10 dollars for a large. Quick in and out service and the pizza was definitely a tasty treat.“

“I've been here (the Texas City location) twice so far, and the pizza was excellent both times. The other big chain pizza place in town was really disappointing, so I was thrilled when I opened that box and saw how perfect that first pizza looked, and it tasted just as perfect (large pan pizza with extra Italian sausage, caramelized onions and roasted peppers).

The guy who served me (whose name I forgot to get, but he said he's the assistant manager) was friendly and prompt, even though he seemed to be operating the store alone both nights (at least I didn't see anyone else working there). Anyway, he did a great job!

The store itself isn't much to write home about. There's a single table and a handful of chairs. Obviously not a space designed for dining in, more of a take-out/delivery joint, which is fine.

“I use this location versus others due to their customer service. They are always so friendly, fast, and always go above and beyond for their customer and their service experience. We had ordered pizza and a liter or two once and the driver came back to drop it off to us! (Forgotten and we said thats ok - forget about it!)

Then it came to my daughter’s birthday this past week and we were celebrating out of town. What did my girl want but Papa John’s pizza. I knew not to go anywhere else but to our Texas City Papa John’s- and they did not disappoint- once again!

I’m never going to knock a place down - especially when they make things right x 10! Long story short — I placed the order early and it was accidentally taken by the driver— they made a fresh new batch of pizzas within minutes and as a surprise…once I had packed up the 4 new ones into the car … Xavier the (district manager I believe) came out with the original order and said - Have a great birthday party! Happy Birthday to your daughter and we apologize !

They took accountability and made it right!

I applaud this location and this team! By far, THE BEST!!!
