We ate last night at Amore Restaurant in The Colony and the food was excellent. Also listened to special music entertainment by Shafer Wilkerson who was fantastic and very talented. As a New Yorker who relocated to Texas, it has been a struggle to find good Italian food. I have been coming to Amore for the past year and having dinner at Amore transports me back to NYC immediately. This is the BEST Italian food in DFW. Everything is fresh and delicious! Starting with the rolls and olive garlic dip and then moving to the main course - you cannot go wrong! Their veal parmigiana and marsala, as well as their linguini in white clam sauce and lobster ravioli rival...

We’ve been going to Amores for years. With the recent change in ownership, we weren’t sure if it would be the same. I’m happy to report that it’s even better. We have been twice with the new ownership and tonight we had.a large party and used the private room. When we walked in, Bobby (the new owner) recognized us. It felt like Cheers where everyone knows your name. The service with our large party was great and the food was delicious. Bobby, we will be back on repeat....
