Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse

We had a nice dinner at Davio’s, with a little unexpected entertainment. The fresh pasta with tomato sauce was my favorite—simple, classic, and so flavorful. My scallops with creamed corn were also delicious, perfectly cooked and paired well with the rich, slightly sweet corn.

My husband ordered the lamb chops, but he felt they were a bit too fatty for his liking. The service was good, but the atmosphere got a little chaotic when a guest got a bit too carried away with their drinks, creating a bit of a scene. We got dinner and show.

Overall, we’d come back for the food, but maybe on a quieter evening.

I used the valet this evening and was told about some policy that they have a charge for and to get rid of said charge i was just to walk into a specific establishment and spend money per se. I chose Davio’s off impulse and there was a young lady with glasses along side this “mature” woman with either brown or dark brown hair. Now, I walk in and explain to them what the valet had told me; the “mature” woman said that I’d have to have dinner there for them to validate me. That I understand and have no problem with at all whatsoever but I turn around and as I’m about to leave she decides to be a smartass and say “Nice try though.” Luckily, I was on a time crunch but normally I wouldn’t let that slide. She said it in a very degrading tone that didn’t sit right with me. I wasn’t “trying” anything. I was doing what I was told and the “mature” woman explained to me it was something different, in which, again, I didn’t have a problem with, but decided to open her smart mouth. If this is how y’all train your hostess’s to be then I have no idea what the hell yall are doing. Gotta keep that “mature” woman in check. She’s too old now to be this childish. Teach her some manners on how to give out customer service.

Been here multiple times but tonight they fell short. Service was lacking. Several times we had empty glasses and waiting on waiter to show back up to get a new order of drinks from us. No apologies or any communincation as to if they were short staffed or busier than usual. The manager never came over to apologize. We showed up at 6:45 and did not get our food until 8:55pm. Tip is automatic with groups of 8 or more...mmm

Food was so greasy .. I couldn’t eat it .. specially the lasagna :(
It was to be a very special dinner but basically all food to take home because was not good to eat there
The service was good but what it matters is the food .. so the whole experience gets ruined if food is not good and then you realize you spent almost 300$ for 4 people for so bad experience

Food and service are consistently outstanding!!

Parking: It's best to valet, otherwise be prepared for a little walk. Davios is located in a busy area and parking can be hard to find without a walk

The food was first class, the service was top notch and the ambiance was lovely.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. If I could give the food 10 stars, I would. It was a perfect dining experience.

This restaurant is not ready to open at 4:00 p.m. We decided to do our anniversary dinner here because we had an okay experience previously. It was a mistake there to get a table at 4:00 p.m. because they were nowhere near ready. It was all the small nuances but it was enough to say we won't be back here anymore. 1) The place was totally empty but we were given a table right next to the wall. I had to ask them to pull away the table some bit. The door to the storage room was right next to us which should be fine? But it was almost laughable when they started shuffling chairs right past us in and out and one time of course a waiter had to hit the corner of our table for some extra fun.
2) The champagne glasses were dirty. Yikes.
3) The steak was ordered medium well and came completely cooked through well done and the second try wasn't really much better.

All in all, probably the biggest mistake was to have the expectation that the place will be up and running by the open which absolutely did not feel that way at all. We have had early dinners at other comparable steakhouses (i.e. Eddie V or Del Frisco), they were a lot more ready to go right off the bat.

The service was not what you would expect of a high class restaurant. The food had no taste, definitely not worth the price. I ended up getting sick from the fish dish I ordered. There are better restaurants around Grandscape that are worth your attention.

It is definitely a high end restaurant. Prices are pretty high but the food is good. Service was good and really attentive. They have a good choice of desserts and a yummy special pumpkin risotto.

The only thing I would complain about is that our table was shaking. I wish management would pay attention to that.

Great for company dinners. We had 40 people in the room upstairs and the room, staff, and food were wonderful.

Dining at Davio’s is the ultimate dining experience! It’s not one I can afford often, but for a special night with friends, it’s worth it. Our server was Michael, and he was excellent. The popovers, of course, are a novelty we all enjoyed before moving on to the beet salad and spring rolls. I had the braised short rib, which all but melted in my mouth, and my friends had the sea bass and loved it. This time I couldn’t resist trying the Brussels sprouts, and I’m glad! They were amazing! Then we chose three desserts - the apple cake was the winner - but they were all wonderful! We had lots of take home bags, but that’s fun too! The only thing I would do differently is either go earlier or go on a Sunday to avoid walking so far to find parking. Grandscape on a Friday night is very busy.

The sauce on the sea bass was way too lemon forward, the stuffed shrimp was overcooked, and it wasn't worth the high price tag.

Excellent food, Excellent service and awesome atmosphere! Devante was our waiter and he did not disappoint. Super friendly staff, the food was delicious! Atlantic salmon was on point!
