We were in the area and looking for a late lunch/early dinner. GPS "Food Near Me" offered it as an option. The hook for us was it was not a chain. We're retired, a bit older, and travel quite a lot. (think seven 9 to 20 day road trips and cruises in 2023). We like to eat? and prefer to avoid chain restaurants, where everything is OK. OK? Any way, we shared a Pot Roast. Discovered this charming gem of a restaurant, and it exceeded expectations! The BOB's were a hit—kudos to the chef for nailing my egg preferences. While my pancakes weren't super crispy on the edges, the flavor of the griddle cakes won me over. Big thanks to Morgan, our delightful server, for ensuring our meals were served piping hot!
We just happen to be driving by and the name caught our attention. We were pleasantly suprised at how much we enjoyed it. The service was great and the food was wonderful. We had the chicken n dumplins and the BBLT. Definitely putting this place in the rotation.
