Julie's Sweets definitely 10 stars with EXCELLENT professional customer service! I have been a repeat customer for three (3) years! My Birthday Cake consisted of Multi Slices of Italian Cream Cheese, Yellow and White Cake with Butter Cream Frosting was As ALWAYS VERY DELICIOUS to US! THANK YOU to the Owner (Ms. Julie) for being a BLESSING on my Special Day! ❤️

I honestly don’t know which is better the cakes or the baker! The cakes are so delicious, we have tried multiple flavors and loved every single one. But Julie really came through for us when we needed a birthday cake last minute and she said absolutely without hesitation and had the cake ready less then 48 hrs later and saved us! It was a huge hit at the party and we are so grateful.

A couple of days ago I researched black owned bakeries and came across this business. The owner was really nice and went out of her to accommodate me. I ended up buying cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and brownies for a work event. The sweets were delicious! I recommend her to anyone with a sweet tooth or just passing through the Grandscape area. Stopped by after a show at Cosm. Was with some friends and everyone got a slice. I grabbed a slice of coconut for my son. Honey, my son never saw that piece of cake. I tasted and ate the whole thing! It was so good, I loved the texture of the cake and the flavor of the cake and icing was on point. Loved it! Would definitely stop in there again.

Disappointing carrot cake with barely any carrot and overpowering taste of spice, frosting wasn’t good either. Also tried the hummingbird cake and it was bland and dense, like it didn’t raise properly. Too bad!

I can just say Julie's Sweets was a lifesaver. Our Plan A Bakery unfortunately didn't have our stuff 3 hours before our event, I called Julie's and she said come on over in 30 minutes and I will have something for you. She prepared some amazing cupcakes which everyone enjoyed and they looked and tasted delicious! We will definitely be coming back and they have moved to our Plan A for future events.

Walked out less than 5 minutes ago. We bought a slice of butter cake with chocolate buttercream, strawberry cake, and a chocolate chip cookie. These treats are incredible. The cookie was chewie and soft with a delicious sweet chocolate flavor and a slight salty undertone that balances the flavors. The butter cake was extremely moist and paired perfectly with the smoothest lightest buttercream I've ever had. Sadly, my kid devoured the strawberry and I didn't get to try it. I cannot wait to go back.

I originally had 5 stars because I love the cake & the employees/owner are super friendly. Only downfall is inconsistent times. This my 2nd time coming during business hours & it’s closed. I actually only really come to this area for Julie’s & it’s already not super convenient given the parking/walking you have to do.. but to come all the way just for it to be closed! Ugh. Probably will have to call ahead of time from now on.

After looking through the window and seeing the colorful display of cakes, I had to try a slice. There were many creative flavors - lemon, key lime, confetti, and much more! It was hard to decide which one to choose, since they all looked so yummy and amazing. I finally settled on the Italian cream. It didn’t disappoint; it was so moist and delicious. I can’t wait to try the key lime or lemon cakes on future visits. I wish I would have taken a few pics, but perhaps next time.

My boyfriend and I finally made it Julie's Sweets. They are one of the original businesses at Grandscape and survived COVID by not having to shut down and now I know why. We were first greeted by a lovely women and then Julie's son helped us and rang our order up. The woman who was there had such a warm smile and was so kind. Julie's son is a kind, professional, and warm young man. AND THEN we tried the cake. The cake smells amazing, is super moist and was delicious (we had the lemon blueberry and strawberry cakes). I love that I was able to support a locally owned company as well. I will definitely be back.

I got the Wedding Cake. Moisture wise, the cake was probably a 7. But the icing was SUPER sweet. Taste wise, I'd give it a 6.5. The slice was 2 layer, but REALLY small, definitely not worth $7.50....maybe $4 or $5. The cashier, who was probably the owner, was very nice.

This place is amazing! Staff were very friendly. My husband had the key lime cake. Very good & he’s not a big sweets person. I had the strawberry cheesecake. I seriously think this is the best cheesecake that I’ve ever had! If you’re around GrandScapes in The Colony, TX, you’ve got to try this place! You will not be disappointed!
