“We had a lovely evening here tonight. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the service was so fantastic. We started out with a sharable appetizer platter and was plenty for the 4 of us to sample each item. Our drinks were exceptional and they even had live music on a Wednesday!! And our entrees were wonderful, great portions and lovely presentation.“

“Great Service! I sat at the bar last Saturday and had burger and some beers which was delicious but what really stood out to me was a bartender named Tenay. (not sure how to spell her name) She has a big smile, very friendly and you can tell loves to serve people. I will be back very soon!“

I go here time to time, every Friday or Saturday to relax and enjoy some cold drinks and playing pool. They do karaoke night on Saturdays' and it's honestly great seeing everyone having a good time!

The food is also well made! I usually snack on the tater tots and chicken tenders with my drink!“

“I REALLY love the crawfish here. (they're the only reason I'm recommending) Probably some of my favorites outside of Louisiana. I was born and raised in the bayou and since moving to Houston these really are the best I've had. Sadly, the service has been so TERRIBLE every time we've gone, I almost cringe at the though of going back......but I'm craving those mudbugs. “Went to tailgators today for the worst service a restaurant could offer leave you sitting 15 minutes with nothing to drink after telling tailgators staff what l wanted to drink 15 to 20 minutes later nothing and this is not the first time at this location so l got up and left no service l told the manager l was going to save him the comp. Because the last time I was in tailgators it took an hour to be served after we ordered so they comp one meal l just saved tailgators the embarrassment!!Service is a joke!“

“Absolutely fantastic place to grab a drink. Prices are extremely fair. Everybody treats you like family just recently moved to the area immediately felt accepted by the atmosphere of people and they have all different types of events throughout the week drink specials. Karaoke is three nights a week, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, recommend the garlic, parm wings, tall boy drafts pool tables, clean restrooms, ATM ,cigarette vending kiosk they even have a skeleton lifeguard🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️ never once felt unwelcome or unwanted highly recommend whether new resident or just passing through definitely a must try!!“

“This feels like every cozy comfy Mexican restaurant you visit with your family in town. Like the Mexican restaurant you loved in 2005 (in the best way) and had no idea you missed. This restaurant was phenomenal. The food was on point, well seasoned, well cooked - hell, I would have eaten just the plain rice for a meal. It was so good!
I had the Fajitas and a house margarita and it was delicious. The house marg is on par and standard but still great, and the fajitas were delicious and sizzling hot.
Some people may say that service is slow but it's not, in my opinion. It's comfortable. No one is rushing you to order or to get out to free up a table, everyone takes their time and it gives you time to just breathe, enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the people you are eating with.
The price point is great too, I know with inflation everything is a little mor pricey, but we have spent more at IHOP than we had here! And got more food!

“1st time visiting & was a bit frustrated bc they don't have a sign. Thought it was more of a restaurant vs bar based off social media so I was uneasy. It was smoke everywhere & 2 random black men at door, windows covered, so I felt unsafe. I was wrong bc I had a great time. I went to the bar, had 3 pds of crawfish for $15 w/corn & potatoes. I added extra, had drinks, & wings. They're the best I've had in the city & I was very surprised. The cute white girl, PM, was my server/bartender, & she was patient, kind, & attentive. I think she noticed I was unsure & guarded. The lady that sat next to me, engaged w/me, laughed, joked, & other guest as well. The music is 🔥, atmosphere is 🔥, food is DELICIOUS 😋. The drink 🔥 🔥🔥. They have hookah so that's a plus. DJ was playing all the hits, dancing, & a very fun crowd. Nobody bothered me, the men were not harassing which is so rare in Houston. I loved that gratuity wasn't automatically added bc I left my server $100 cash tip. That woman didn't miss a beat, took care of guest, made drinks in a packed lut bar, attentive, aware, & she's amazing. Ty for making it a fun, SAFE, & relaxed environment. I'm happy nb didn't put anything in my drinks. Houston is ratchet, sketchy, & awful but I had fun here. I had to leave & couldn't wait 4 her so I left the tip on the bar, under the napkins. I hope PM got her tip. I appreciated her. ❤️“

“Let me start by saying how much I love the atmosphere and staff of Buffalo run. Simon is one the best bartenders around between his friendliness and creative knowledge of drinks and mixes. Jessica is a great manager that stays on top of her responsibilities not only as the one in charge but someone who takes personal action towards any complaints made. I’ve had Kara as a server a few times now and her bubbly personality and glowing smile make it a wonderful experience each time she is a joy to have taking care of you.“
