Bexar Barbecue Reviews
Bought 1/2 lb sliced brisketand 1/3 lb turkey. Turkey was some of the best I have eaten. The brisket was the worst I have ever eaten. It was burnt and so dry we could not eat eat it. Spent over $30 and threw half our dinner awY.
Service was excellent, brisket was above board
A few bbq sauce options which is nice.
GREAT BBQ at a fair price. Very clean restaurant. Me and my momma really enjoyed the brisket and ribs! And, get the banana pudding!

Bexar Barbecue offers a friendly atmosphere with attentive service. The restaurant serves a variety of delicious barbecue dishes, including top-notch brisket and flavorful sausage links. The brisket is moist and full of flavor, and the turkey is very flavorful, moist, and succulent. The original BBQ sauce is delicious and complements the dishes well. Customers recommend trying the candied burnt ends on a cheeseburger for an excellent meal. The burger itself is highly praised, with some calling it one of the top five burgers of their lives, featuring a tasty bun, brisket, and homemade house pickles with the perfect tanginess. The coleslaw is unique and worth trying. While portion sizes for sandwiches might be small, the food quality makes up for it. The atmosphere remains comfortable and clean.
The barbecue at Bexar Barbecue is praised as excellent, with great brisket and sausage. The Bexar Burger is a beloved menu item. The restaurant uses high-quality Ruffino Meats, and the sides, such as the potato salad, beans, and vinegar coleslaw, are considered the best. The homemade pickles and banana pudding are also highlights. The establishment is well-managed and maintained, with a spotless interior and exterior.
