Food is good, staff is friendly. Cost is reasonable . Very clean. I dont give 5 stars to any place. But if I did this place would get one.

It's much better than other locations I've been to. Seems a little more updated. Food was fresh, rolls soft and hot, and chicken was still crispy after getting all the food to bring home for dinner.

This location at 249 and spring Cypress is decent. The lobby and bathrooms are poorly kept. I wish they had more side options. The ice cream machine was broken so only dried out bread pudding for dessert. For almost $20 per person it's not worth it.

Hartz Chicken makes great fried krispy Chicken , and if your pallette requires some boldly unique flavor this may not be the place for you. Hartz has been in business for decades and rightfully so, because they make excellent quality fried chicken that is crispy, and fried to perfection at the most reasonable price. Their menu and buffet includes an array of sides that complement thier chicken, along with rolls that can't be beat! You can't rush a good thing, so if you are ordering to go, equip yourself with patience and wait. For those without patience, go find a Popeyes that will have mounds of sub-par chicken cooked and possibly sat under the headlamp for some time ready for you at twice the price and nowhere close to as krispy as Hartz.

Absolutely ZERO STARS! I placed an order on DoorDash and it was a completed order, went to pick it up and they refused to give me my food saying they never received my order! They are scammers and tried to keep my money! Avoid at all cost! Terrible service and business!!

I went to hartz chicken at 249 and spring cypress at approximately 5 pm today the sign on the window said 10.99 8 price ad# 2 dollars for 2 sides I went in and ordered it with a drink when the lady rung it up she said 33 dollars I told her she must be crazy watch out people there gouging people and I've been that restaurant many times but I'm giving a 0 all across the board I will never go there again I walked out

PRICE GOUGING AFTER A HURRICANE

Hartz chicken 10806 spring cypress 77357 just tried to charge me over 33 dollars for a 10 piece chicken with 2 sides and a drink!!!!
sign on the window said 10.99 (2 dollars extra for 2 sides) trying to take advantage of you in this time of trouble is so disgusting.

The buffet was not that good this time. Extremely disappointing. Roasted chicken was just okay almost watery. The mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were cold. Possibly the buffet table was not working. The rolls were very cold. There was no spaghetti, no Peach Cobbler and the ice cream machine had an out of order sign. Bread pudding tasted horrible. The staff was friendly. Very very disappointing.

Vegetarian options: Cabbage, green beans, cole slaw, jello, and oranges were all good.

We got sick after eating at this location with diarrhea. only one person in my household that did not got sick as she only ate chicken. Will not come back at this Hartz location again.
