My wife and I ate on a Friday night. The atmosphere was noisy but good although the service was very slow. We had crab cakes and fried green tomatoes to start which were good but the main courses of scallops and steak were luke warm after a long wait at our table. We each had 2 glasses of house wines which were ok at best. Our bill was almost $250 but they discounted it by 20% when I told them about the food temperature. Not very impressed.
We celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary here. We had planned to go to a different steakhouse but there was a 45 min wait. I looked up steakhouses in Tomball. The Refuge Steakhouse came up. I read reviews and we started on our way there. I would highly recommend The Refuge Steakhouse to anyone. Our server name was Aiden. This was our first time at here. I made a reservation online and we showed up a bit early. Table was ready in a few minutes but we decided to sit at the bar. Caney was our bartender and server. She made excellent drinks and we had a nice pleasant conversation. The NY strip 14 oz steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. My daughter’s steak, the 6 oz filet was cooked perfectly to her liking. The bourbon selection is excellent. I had an Eagle Rare 10 year and it was smooth and delicious. I ordered...
