One of the coolest bars in Tyler. If you’re a male, make sure you have some kind of sleeves on the shirt you’re wearing when you enter. I was asked to leave once because I was wearing a tank top on a hot summer day.

Perfect place for late night cocktails. We didn’t get oysters tonight, but it looked like they had a solid selection. Just a couple tables here - we were lucky to snag one. Everyone else was lined up at the bar and behind it. But everyone seemed to love it! It’s that kind of place. Great buzz. Solid bar tenders. All staff was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed the two desserts we got (key lime pie and crème brûlée). Nicely done. All our cocktails were great. Would definitely recommend for evening drinks. Downtown Tyler is a neat vibe these days!Kid-friendliness: Not really for kidsParking: After 5pm the parking around the square is free. We circled once and found a spot. Worth it.

LOVE the Black Pearl. Food and service was great. Cocktails were spot on, we had the Black Pearl Margarita and a Moscow Mule. Followed that with lobster bisque which is rich and creamy and boiled shrimp. I had the crab crostini which is light and full of flavor. My hubby had the crab Louie salad which is enough for 2 people to share. Overall a solid 5 stars and must visit.

Loved this place for a date with my hubby. We shared apps and got drinks. I loved the indoor outdoor area. It was very aesthetically pleasing. The food was delicious too!
First timer and excellent service and fabulous food. The Crab salad was the best I've ever had, hands down. Will definitely go back!

Excellent bartenders!

Great atmosphere, cool vibe, good food! I'm not a seafood lover but the charcuterie board is great. I'd like more choices for non-seafood but overall great experience.

Decent drinks, kinda overpriced though. If you like seeing 10 dudes wearing peacoats and a few in fedoras. This the spot

Ahoy, matey and welcome to The Black Pearl. Nah, I'm just kidding. This is not a Pirates of the Caribbean themed bar as my dumbass half expected. Nonetheless, I'm glad my friends and I made this our last stop on a day trip to the ever welcoming environment of Tyler, TX. The drinks were good and beautifully crafted by a bunch of self-proclaimed "alcohol nerds" and the banter we had was enjoyable, as well. Now, my friends and I have been known as a "hurricane" in our hey-day and this was no exception. The bartenders were gentlemen and took us in stride. It was the loveliest of evenings. The environment? Spot on! The music? Great choices. The drinks? Not too strong, but strong enough. The patrons and bartenders? Fun and professional. On top of their menu, the men have a secret one all of their own. Ask them to whip up their favorite drink of choice, and they are entirely different, but just an enjoyable. I hope you check this place out, fellow Yelpers!
Pretty good. Pretty, pretty, pretty good.
