it is 1.5 hours since i left the restaurant, i still do not have any taste in my mouth because the food was so OVER SEASONED/SALTED . admittedly, i am a technological Luddite, and do not use apps. but to be forced to use a QR code in order to view the menu is degrading. worse to be told "i am not going to stand here and go through the menu" was infuriating. eventually my wife gave me the basics of the menu so i could choose. He could have used his own phone but suggested that my wife read it when i mentioned my dissatisfaction with this arrangement to the maitre de his lack of concern was blatant. my wife indicates that the water smelled and tasted bad. she sent back the first cup and could not drink its replacement. I was excited to try the octopus, i wish i could identify the taste of it, but was unable to discern anything but salt. i was able to taste a little of the sauce, but my wife tells me it was good. my flat iron steak....how do i say this? the restaurant flaunts using locally raised beef etc. It looked like it was cooked well. i wouldn't know because the amount of seasoning totally obliterated the taste of the actual meat. it was served with a gigantic serving of fries which i appreciated until i tasted it. the amount of salt rendered it inedible. My wife, however enjoyed her red snapper. she could only eat half and had the remainder boxed to go. the waiter put it on another table while delivering the check. I was so anxious to leave that it may still be there. it is very pricey. i am ok with paying well for good food and service. this was neither, but still pricey. my experience would have to significantly improve to be disappointed. btw: when making the reservation the website asked if the dinner was to acknowledge something. i responded that it was a "special occasion". I wonder why they want to know?

Food and service were excellent! We enjoyed our evening but this place had no air conditioning or it was not working. The worst part is that they pretended it was fine. When it’s 106 degrees in Texas this is unacceptable for this nice of a place. There are so many things they could have done - offered nice cool towels, free drinks, placed fans around the place - They could have warned us when they called to confirm our reservations!

Our niece recommended this place for a nice dinner, when visiting family. Thx Libby! She set a reservation and literally escorted us to the restaurant, since we were only visiting. We had a great server and the food was over the top, delicious! In fact, we each ate our own dessert, yummy! Outside seating was super nice but the chairs were hard on the ass for a long spell.

Consistently the best overall restaurant in Tyler, hands down. Food quality is amazing, expertly prepared food with local farm fresh ingredients and funky fun atmosphere. Please get a reservation as it booked out most weekends and is a small intimate place with an entertaining open kitchen. Something very needed in a place like Tyler and glad to have this restaurant as a reuglar go to for wonderful experiences.

Someone invested so much into ambience. Sadly lackluster staff, mediocre food. Chef spent more time decorating plates than making tasteful food. Disappointing experience. Required reservations, only 1 other table of patrons in place. Out of wine at 5:30 dinner shift, really?? Owner in restaurant entire time, patrons beneath him.

Waitress who acted very kind with an underlying I’ll show you attitude. Would not bring ticket sat and talked and our order was impossible to get would not bring half of our order. Passive aggressive attitude with a smile on her face. Very strange. Decided to give this place a gin an opportunity but the food is less than average and no one seems to really care it’s about the dollar they were out of half of what was on the menu we were told. My food was actually tasteless and my sisters as well this is the last time will be coming to this restaurant I hope you actually pay attention to these reviews. There was people there and no one seem to really pay attention to what was going on around the restaurant poor management I would say

My husband and I went here for dinner with pretty high hopes based on great reviews but were sadly very disappointed by our experience. We ordered a bottle of wine, corn bread as a starter and 2 entrees all during the first order with the waiter as we had been warned that that service can be a bit slow and wanted to get ahead of that. We received our wine and water quickly but after quite some time we realized we were finishing our entire bottle of wine without even receiving our appetizer of corn bread (after more than an hour after placing the order). After notifying the servers that we hadn’t received anything, we finally were given the appetizer about 15 minutes later without much of any explanation as to why the delay. We continued to wait another 40-45 minutes before asking for the check without receiving entrees (at this point we had ordered 2 hours prior). After reviewing the check, we were told the food was ready and asked if we still wanted it and realizing that most restaurants in town would be closed at this point we decided to accept the food. It was actually very tastey, but with the negative service and length of time we waited, it really overpowered the experience of the food. At the end, we were offered a 10% discount and the corn bread removed from the bill, being transparent this was $15 off of an original $115 bill so it didn’t feel like much of an apology. We really don’t like to complain but hope that this feedback can be beneficial for the restaurant to make improvements in the future and maybe to also set expectations for future customers that could have a similar experience. When spending this amount of money on a meal, there are some service expectations that come along with it and this expectation was definitely not met during our visit (and I just mean timely food delivery and occasional checking in to refill water or checking if we need anything, I’m not expecting fine dining service here). However, we will try the restaurant again in the future to hopefully have a different experience.

High energy ambience and great food. The pork chop is worth the investment with an unusual meld of flavors. We didn't save room for dessert, but still ordered the fried bread pudding, and glad we did. We didn't order the fries or mac and cheese, but seemed everyone else did as both looked delicious. It's an open kitchen, and would recommend a table by the kitchen to watch the staff in action; they never stop moving.

This is a unique restaurant full of art with a energizing vibe surrounded by art and rock-alternative music. The food is the greatest, with amazing presentation and even better taste. It's our favorite place in Tyler!
