Kiepersol - The Grand Room, Winery, Distillery Tasting Room & Vineyard

Very laid back atmosphere and great service. Quite the selection of cocktails. The Old Cuban was surprisingly delicious, but the brandy, served neat, missed the mark for me.

My office drove in for our Christmas party we reserved a separate room and made reservations to start arriving at 5:30 Kiepersol closes at 9:00. We thought , because the room was reserved we would have it for the evening , expressing that it was our office Christmas party. When we arrived and everyone wasn’t yet there we were hurried to call our last 2 that got lost .. they didn’t make it till 6:00 then we were told we had to be out of the room before8:00 because it was booked. I did event coordinating for an event hotel and this is not a practice that is favorable for most places. The food was great and the service was super. This reflects greatly on the staff but not so well on the management.
Earlier my husband and I who were staying the night went to wine tasting where I was served a white wine and then asked to taste a red and the red was poured on top of the wine still left in the glass… maybe some training is in order!
Again great place with some changes needed.

A family business with a family feel. Beautiful setting and the tour is fantastic. Excellent tasting that was more of a friendly meeting than programmed event. You have to try the Oysters Rockefeller in the restaurant. Great spot if you're looking for date or anniversary outings!

CAVEAT EMPTOR!
I left a custom made, satin lined, little black dress in our room on September 7, 2024.
Realizing my mistake while we were on our honeymoon during hurricane Helene, I contacted Melinda with KIEPERSOL who communicated with the head housekeeper, Jerzey [sic], who communicated to Melinda that she'd indeed found my dress; Melinda stated my dress would be in the restaurant at the reception stand and I could retrieve my dress when we actually were able to fly out of Tampa, FL Intrnatl Airport and get home to Tyler TX.
I called this evening, Oct. 5th, 2024 and was purposely disconnected....Twice.
On my third call, I spoke with Addie and Elizabeth ... who told me that Melinda had been incorrect, as had Jerzey [sic] and my dress was never found, as per Addie & Elizabeth on October 5, 2024 at approximately 927pm, who were hostesses with whom I spoke. Very Suspicious!
DON'T DARE STAY OVERNIGHT HERE ... much less have leave expensive clothes behind as, if one leaves irreplaceable, custom Haute Couture, one will be lied to as this staff tells untruths - one's personal items will never be returned.
SHAME ON KIEPERSOL & STAFF FOR SUCH VILE, UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR.

This was a definite Jewel in East texas! We had an old fashioned to top off a very good bottle of wine

Recommend the Barrel No. 33! Everything is great, and the staff are so friendly! They greet you with a taste walking in.

Kiepersol was nothing short of amazing.My fiancé planned a surprise proposal here and it was absolutely perfect— from the views to the magnificent help from the staff.They really helped make the moment extra special and I will definitely be back to fully enjoy everything their winery has to offer.❤️?

The best Winery in Texas. If you’re in the DFW area this is a quick drive and worth it. We attended the wine dinner and stayed 2 nights at the B&B. Wines were good, my fave was the Mengsel (red blend). Even the dry wines have a smidge of RS, which seems to be the winemaker’s touch. B&B is very nice, great breakfast, The coffee could be better.We did a blind Merlot tasting a week later - 7 wines from across the globe. The Kiepersol was my #2 and my husband’s #1. Exceeding expectations!

I first went to Kiepersol well over a decade ago and rediscovered it in 2020. I love the experience here. I truly feel this vineyard is a Napa experience in Texas! If you do a tasting, get with Kevin! He’s such a personable guy and is truly knowledgeable about the wines and spirits!

This is a beautiful environment to experience! There are tours, tastings, and the perfect blend of relaxation and education! Can’t wait to come back!!!
