The cheese enchiladas were so bland I had to drench them with salsa to eat them. The chips are homemade & VERY thick, they hurt my teeth. Service was good & prices are great.
If you're looking for a fancy dining experience, this is not the place. Mama Olivo is an old-fashioned Mexican restaurant that serves up incredible dishes. If you want authentic, delicious, mouth-watering Menudo & Pozole or a host of other dishes cooked up by the Mexican staff, you'll have to drop in. You dont have to speak Spanish but this is the place to practice up if you're a little rusty. Show up hungry.
Three stars is generous for this place. The food is so bland, a microwave dinner has more flavor. The service was good, the aqua fresca was good, but thats it. This food tastes like it was made for an old folks home. The salsa is basically tomato soup, there are no recognizable tomatoes onions or cilantro in it.
