Visited late on a Monday night about an hour before closing time so the restaurant was almost empty. So I can't comment on atmosphere. Service was great and my pizza was surprisingly great! Crust was fantastic and baked perfectly with a slight char around the edges. Toppings were generous and I was genuinely pleased because the building outside is so generic looking. Mario’s is the real deal- family owned- staff is very attentive and professional. Plenty of vegetarian choices. Loved that there were so many photographs of times gone by. Mira was our waitress- lovely human. We will be back anytime we are in Tyler TX.
We were seated right away. The restaurant was decorated with walls of pictures, most of which were actors and actresses, most of which have passed. It was fun trying to name them all.
