Mikoto Ramen Bar and Sushi

The BEST spicy tonkotsu ramen, all the ingredients are delicious and fresh-tasting; the broth especially! After recently moving, I just want to say I keep trying to find a ramen place that holds a candle to Mikoto; no such luck. 10/10 will come again!

Such a cool little restaurant! Has lots of options, really good food and the service was perfect. The ramen is delicious, the appetizers are amazing, and they play cool anime music. Overall 10/10! Haven’t tried the sushi yet but the ramen is perfect

Food was amazing the vibe was pretty chill the only problem was the service the waitress was rude took my family out for a late lunch and she wouldn’t check on us even though we needed multiple things we had to walk all the way to her to ask for forks and waited a while for our check had a nasty attitude and just stood talking to other employees would look over and make faces so unprofessional especially since we like this place a lot.

First-time experience being new to area. Previously from a metroplex with many ramen options, so trust me when I say the following.... Makoto Sushi and Ramen Bar is a gem! The food was absolutely incredible – rich, flavorful, and perfect for warming up on a cold or dreary day. We enjoyed the spicy tonkotsu and miso chicken ramen.

What truly made the experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond by providing a thoughtful handwritten card. It’s the small, personal touches like this that set Makoto apart.

If you’re looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to go. Highly recommended and will return!

Best ramen I’ve had in TX! Stopped in on our overnight in Tyler driving home to Austin. Service was friendly and fast, nice ambiance. I had the spicy curry ramen and loved it - great subtle curry flavor and the pulled pork in it was tasty and unique. Boyfriend had the spicy Tonkatsu, excellent broth. Ample toppings on both. We both would have liked both dishes a little spicier but they do have an option to make it spicier. If I’m ever back in Tyler we’d certainly come back

We wernt super crazy about the taste of both our noodles we got. I got the beef and husband got pork. The rolls were super good. The spring rolls were delicious! Customer service great!

Been going there for a few years. Any time I have the chance to. Went there today around 1:00pm - 1:30pm. Service was amazing. He Filled me in on when my food is being prepared, and how many tables are ahead of me. When I was there he was the only server on the floor taking the orders. And the ramen bowl I had is still good, it was worth the wait!! 👍

Terrible service, took almost an hour to get my food, even though I showed up around 2:00 in the afternoon. Server paid no attention to the table, we had to stop her to get a refill and again to get a check.
