Great service and great food. 3 star review because I was informed they will no longer be serving CHIMICHANGAS. A Tex-Mex staple that a Tex-Mex restaurant will no longer serve is insane. Luckily I was able to still have one today but had to take a different sauce as ranchero was no longer available. Was very good but Iโ€™m sad to see the new management taking this path. Another reason for 3 was no root beer available. Only Coke products and Dr. pepper. Please put the chimichanga back on the menu. Thank you.

I had not been to on the border in years. We had lunch there. My margaritas were really good! My steak nachos were amazing. We had a great waiter. An older rescue but still a place I'd recommend!

visiting from Colorado..its been a moment since we've had OTB...the hostess and the server were friendly..and our server asked if we had been to OTB lately and advised us that some menu items had changed...the menu looked sparse compared to the last menu..Chips were nice and fresh..but the salsa was different...not the normal OTB salsa...food was ordered and arrived very quickly...first off the beans..man dont mess with beans..they used to be a go to item..the touch of bacon..man new beans are just beans.ho hum nothing special..the hamburger taco meat in my taco was almost burnt...and in the combo what happened to the mini chimi? if it was there i didnt see it...now the mini sopapillas with chocolate and honey sauce were top notch..is the new change of menu items local or national? Cant say I'll be returning to OTB in the future..disapointed... I wish you the best...

Recent changes are awsome. The menu was limited but the food was excellent! They said they will be expanding the menu soon.

We went in shortly before they closed. The guy that seated us was very nice as was our waitress. I was shocked at how bad the food was. Even down to salsa. Someone told me they heard that they changed up some of their ingredients. After my trip there I can believe that. Iโ€™ve been here many time throughout the years and never have I had a complaint about the foodโ€ฆ. Until now.

Our church singles group met this afternoon at On The Border in Longview. The food and service was excellent. The new owners and management have really improved the dining experience. We will be back. Larry Staples, Judson Community Baptist Church, Longview

My son and I were out having a lunch meeting. He ordered steak nachos and I ordered empanadas. The nachos had the steak meat and my son bit into one and I heard a crunch where he bit into a bone, the meat had bones on it that we showed the manager Edgar and all he said was oh yes we are butchering our own meat in the back ourselves now and he'd let cooks know. I will not recommend this location to anyone and I will never eat here again. The customer service provided by manger was like he disregarded us as paying customers. Our waitress provided more interest than the manager.

After being seated it took a little too long before anyone came over to our table, but our waitress Jessica was awesome and we were glad we did not decide to leave before she got to us. We understand places get busy.

We have not been to On The Border for a long time. We found the menu offered many delicious looking dishes. We enjoyed what we ordered and will be back again. Wait staff was very cordial and attentive.

The food was good and the service was great. However, my bill was $62 including the tip but my card was charged $65. I know $3 isn't much, but it is the principle of it and is bad/sloppy business. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was unintentional and I hope the extra went to the server. (It is also odd that I was given an orange felt tip pen to sign the check, which is why I took a picture in the first place.) If I ever go back, I will definitely pay with cash.
