I am in Tyler Texas for family matters, so my son ans my Godson, and goddaughter also my wife wanted stake, well the reviews were good enough to stop. I've owned a BBQ and Seafood Restaurant for 24 years in California, but my family is from Dallas Texas. This wasn't all that the reviews stated. We had to send one Steak back and fge others were just mediocre. I would say the yam was cooked perfectly and the bread was ok, over all 4 steaks and one chicken breast...
It took a minute to get seated but it was worth it. I had the ribeye it was tender and juicy. We had fried mushrooms for an appetizer they were wonderful. The salad was crispy and the croutons were homemade and fresh. The carrot cake was absolutely amazing, homemade it tasted so good I haven't had anything like that in years. From now on when I feel like a steak dinner out it will be Saltgrass.
First time eating at Saltgrass and was surprised at the cost but after eating the food I’m honestly surprised they don’t charge more lmao
