We were door dashing and picked up an order there for the first time. The smell of the establishment overwhelmed My Wife and she got me once we got done DoorDash. We both picked up food from there. It was 10 out of 10 service both times I was in there and it is quality food at a reasonable price better than Stanley’s or anywhere else in town well worth the visit and well worth the money. We both got the potatoes

Friendly staff, fast service, and good food! The ribs had such a good smokey flavor and were super juicy! The greens & red beans and rice were so full of flavor! The Spud was amazing, I usually don’t care for barbecue sauce but this was definitely one of the best sauces I’ve had! It was very big and didn’t even finish half of it! Definitely worth the hour drive!

The ribs was dry and,hard and,the beans was to spicy potato salad was good two ribs,dried up and,she needs to be shut down and,need to send the health department in and,shut them completely for taking people money. And was to embarrass to post the picture and,so there for its not worth it even getting don't waste your money on getting there food rate them as 1
My husband and I have traveled around several states looking for good bbq. We've had Rudy's and Terry Black's to name a few here in Texas. We have tried places in Memphis as well as in Kansas. One of my younger sibling lives in Tyler and told us about Y'alls BBQ. My husband, who loves bbq, stated Y'alls is the BEST bbq he's had. We drive from over an hour away to get to Y'alls bbq. The prices are reasonable and the smell of the bbq is amazing when you walk through the door!

Stopped in to place an order the guy at the counter was on his phone and didn't ecnolge me and while he was on the phone he was putting his hand down the front of his pants like I wasn't even there

Wife and I ordered Texas spuds. My gosh, it was absolutely out of the park, grandslam. Almond Joy cake was the topping of an amazing meal! We will definitely return. Deliciousness in each bite!

I knew the moment I walked in and the walls were so saturated with barbecue smoke that I instantly started salivating that I'd made a very, very good choice.
This little barbecue shack has been hiding like a pearl in an oyster. I honestly have no idea how I've lived in Tyler for 16+ years and had never eaten, much less hear of, this place!
But you know, that's also how the best holes in the walls work.

The restaurant owner was kind enough to give me and my guest a free drink on the house as first time visitors. That's the kind of instantly-at-home-love you get when you walk into a sole propietor kind of place.
I got the Texas Potatoes, and let me tell you--McAllisters and Stanley's--LOOK OUT. If more spud lovers knew about this secret, Idaho would be empty of its potatoes. I couldn't even finish half because 'Texas Spud' wasn't just a moniker...it was actually Texas-sized.
There's cute little picnic tables outside next to the smokers to sit and enjoy the sound of the countryside.
The BBQ sauce was good--it didn't try to take the center stage over the meat, which is how it should be when you're BBQ is good.
Oh, I'll be back alright.
And I'm bringing all my friends.
