I've been eating BBQ all my life......have food served to me that I feel is days old is unacceptable. If the food isn't old then they must have cut the meat early that has lead into it drying out.The brisket was dry, with a texture suggesting it had either been sliced far in advance or held for too long. The ribs had an overly harsh smoke flavor, not the pleasant deep smoke you get from clean, slow-burning wood. The taste was bitter, like when a fire flares up and coats the meat in soot. There was no BBQ sauce included in the order, which only made the dryness and harsh smoke more noticeable. Also I didn't receive my side orders. On a side note Uber was very helpful! As they refund my money and went as far to send an email to apologize for the food. Which wasn't their fault or had anything to do with them.

The food portions were not good. Very small for price. Also the quality wasn’t good. Too much fat on brisket and part of my ribs seemed burned. Usually good but not this time. Also we drove 30 minutes to get food.

Used to be real good...but now it's the bbq shop up the street where they give you more sauce then they give you meat
First of all this place is Veteran owned.
This place was definitely unexpected. Small shack but with a big taste. In the middle of out in the country. Seating outside but shaded. So if you want big fancy commercial place , this place is not for you.
This is your ma & pa place. The food was delicious. Customer service was great. The place was exactly what we need for my son to drive 2 hours and we drove 30 mins so my son could see his grandma. So relaxing and welcoming we stayed for 2 hours. With amazing food. We will be back. Taking hubby next time. Thank you again.
Wow, this place was hard to review for me. Some real hits and one important miss. First, yes, as some people said this is out in the middle of nowhere and the building is very unassuming. But the people in the building are very nice and make some good food, so don't judge a book by its cover. And while there are some picnic tables out front, I believe this is primarily a take-out place. Now for the hits and misses: Grand slam: dirty beans and rice with brisket, SO good, I think I'd just order this alone next time. Hit: ribs were very tasty and super tender. Miss: the brisket was dry and not very tender.
They cater Halal!
Great authentic Texas BBQ!!! The brisket and loaded spud( loaded potatoes) were delicious and large portions. A special spot that we highly recommend! I wish I took a picture of all the food.
