“¡MUY RICO! Everything is so authentic and full of flavor. The Lechon here is mouth watering. I've never been a fan of Yucca UNTIL I tried it from here ??️ The prices are fair, the wait is short and the service is friendly. They give you enough food to feed 2 people in one plate. It's so delicious I can't stop eating, even when I'm full ? this is my FAVORITE spot to get Puerto Rican food in Texas ?? I'm so grateful we found this hidden gem ❤️ thank you for the great service and amazing food!!!! We pray you all stay open and prosper ? Buen Provecho!!!!!!!!“
“Stopped by here on my home to work because I was craving something new. The woman who was working the food truck was so friendly and helped guide me through the menu. I ordered the jibaro plate with pernil and a papa rellena. SOOO GOOD!! Definitely enough for two meals. I will be coming back to try some of their sandwiches!“
“Great food. Made from scratch, hot and fresh. I’ve been to other P.R. Food Spots, but this one is a must try. Family owned food truck next to a gas station. They don’t sell beverages and parking is limited. Service was a delight. The chef is friendly, polite and helped us with recommendations. Thank you the food was phenomenal.Parking: Parking is limited“
“This truck is the perfect combination because I am Filipino and my husband is Puerto Rican. So when we saw this truck, we knew immediately we needed to go. We ordered pinchos Mofongo and chicken Chicharrón, and all of it was so good! We were both really impressed with the fusion. We weren't sure how it was going to work but we definitely loved it!“
“The food at this place was amazing totally different from any food. I’ve tried here in San Antonio. Their tacos are so delicious and taste so different from traditional street tacos that you would taste in California and San Antonio. I would definitely come back here very unique tasting food I highly recommend this place.“
“My parents came from the island and were desperate for puertorrican food. After doing some research we found Calle caribe. We were skeptical about it because coming from the island you encounter a lot of Caribbean fusion but not authentic food. It was amazing. El maposteao, mofongo, carne frita, pollo frito, sorullos, alcapurrias and pastelillos de carne were out of this world. It felt like being in Puerto Rico. The service was incredible. If you want to taste a little piece of PR you have to go. Thank you for making my parents happy.“
