Uvalde Golden Dragon Fast Food

Ordered 4 meals, food did not match what I ordered. To include dietary restrictions. The food that was received was not good/ not edible due to tasting terrible. Will not be going back. Ruined Chinese food for me for the rest of my life. Forever changed the opinion for the course of my young fellas life.

Their food is usually cold. The service is horrible and their hours are very inconsistent.

First time and wasn't really satisfied with the food. Fried rice a little hard. Not much flavor.

Only to go orders but even walking in had our order ready in less than 10 min :) food really good rice needed more soy sauce but luckily they give you little packets to accommodate for that :)

They are starting to skimp on the sauce coatings, very dry. Pork fried rice was dry and not very flavorful. There was barely any chicken in the chicken noodle soup.

They serve awesome food.

Love their lemon chicken? and egg rolls and fried rice ? ! The crust on the lemon chicken is simply the best. It is thin and crunchy instead of the typical thick doughy batter at other restaurants. Their broccoli ? chicken is amazing too. This Golden Dragon food is pretty much my measuring stick for all Chinese food I get elsewhere. Very very few meet the standards of taste & texture. This one is my fav. Only thing is, they are sometimes closed for months at a time. Those are sad times lol.

The Beef Szechuan was delicious! The side fried rice could be better, maybe with steamed rice I would have rated 5 stars.
I recommend the palace.

Best orange chicken you’ll ever eat

Just do it! So good, I WISH I could find Chinese food this good near my house in Central Texas! The family that owns the restaurant is so nice and the food is absolutely on point!It’s to go only, but every plate comes with a Rangoon, fried rice & soup. It took less than 10 mins to get our food and it was steaming hot + plenty extra for leftovers. Get the chips with sweet & sour sauce as a snack while you wait!
