Really good food. The fried rice is delicious. Chicken fried steak dinner is the best in town.

Small business. Very nice workers. Great burgers! Perfect road trip stop.
Old drive in stand with a few booths inside and picnic tables outside. The burgers are large with hand formed patties, tasting just like we made at home. Lots of tater tots in the order, cooked to the perfect crispness! Nothing fancy, but, oh so good! Sign on the wall saying “Lost in the 50’s” was perfect! Staff (all family?) were friendly and worked together well.

Beef fried rice was class. Definitely unexpected. Stop by if your in the area
If I move to Vernon, this is the reason why.
This place has THE BEST burgers and fries in town. I'm not kidding. If the burgers were $16, it'd still be a 5-star review. Places like this make Texas amazing. The restaurant itself is very old-fashioned, which is rare to come by these days. I love it. Gordon Ramsay would cry happy tears if he tasted the food here.
Vernon burger has the best burgers in Vernon hands down
The food was delicious. We were driving up 287 and the kids were screaming for food. The first one asked for a burger, so we stopped at Vernon Burger. You never know what you’re going to get when eating on the road, but I’d definitely come back here again.
We all got burgers, and I added an order of the chicken fried rice—because why not? The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. The burgers were big, freshly made, and the lettuce was crisp. I saw a review mentioning the rice, and it really delivered. The crispy bits reminded me of the kind of rice I used to get in the Philippines.
The tables were clean, the ketchup bottle was spotless, and the employees were friendly. I’m really glad we stopped.
