My rating of this place has gone down since my first initial review (4 years ago.) The staff are usually so upbeat and nice but not this time, I felt like I was bothering them and in turn waited 30 minutes for a Jr. cheeseburger that was cold alongside cold fries. People that came after us got their food before me. I miss the old staff I guess.
Chicken strips and cheeseburger, with fries. First time at Double J's, and they seemed to have a following of locals, which is usually a sign of pretty good food. I started slow for a first try. I love going to Double Js for a good home-cooked meal. The girls in the front are always so friendly. They have really good home made lunch specials. I enjoy the 70s country they play. overall it was a good experience and I appreciate how attentive the servers were.
