Slow Rise on the Brazos offers a variety of options, including gluten-free crust or cauliflower crust for those with dietary restrictions. Their menu features pizzas, such as the spinach ricotta slice, the Texas Gold honey mustard chicken pizza, and the Pulled Pork BBQ pizza. Other dishes include loaded fries, wings, mozzarella sticks, and huge delicious salads. For dessert, the funnel cake fries with raspberry dipping sauce are yummy. The patio atmosphere is a highlight with a great setup and stunning scenic river views; kids love feeding the turtles from the deck. The restaurant is kid-friendly until the evening when it takes on a more lively bar scene. The staff is friendly and the service is highly praised, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Slow Rise on the Brazos is a charming spot with good food, friendly service, and scenic views.
