Visiting Waco for a few days and stopped in. Staff were awesome. Bartender was knowledgeable about the draft beer and made recommendations. Pizza and cheese sticks were great! Cool decor and clean. :) thanks!

Southern Roots Brewing Co. offers a welcoming atmosphere, exceptional hospitality, and delicious beer. Guests can enjoy mouth-watering pizzas, including crispy crusts with plenty of flavor, and pretzel bites. This brewery is a great spot for a fun date or gathering with friends, conveniently located near downtown Waco and shopping areas. Customers have raved about the taste of the pizzas, particularly enjoying options like the Southern Belle. The beer selection, including the hazy IPA and lager, has received positive feedback. Visitors also appreciate the fresh pizza with a yummy neopolitan crust, making it a family-friendly, casual place to hang out downtown after a day of exploring. Some reviews mention issues with the new POS system, such as incorrect charges and delays in closing out tabs, but overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. The first-time visitors enjoyed the tasty American Stout called Goat Cave and found the bartenders to be very helpful and fun to meet. Despite a few minor hiccups, Southern Roots remains a popular spot for good food, great beer, and friendly service.
