If you know Pit BBQ you will love this food!!!! Off the chart deliciousness! Bought a bottle of the BBQ sauce to go! They also sell pimento cheese sandwiches, deviled eggs and variety of other sandwiches to go. The atmosphere is clean but it is somewhat of a hole in the hall. But as usual the best food! The billboard advertises opened 24 hours but that is only the store portion. The food service closes at 8 PM. Service is quick and pleasant. Easy access on/off highway.
Every time I go there it is a different experience. My wife and I like the chopped beef sandwiches. Here recently they did not have much meat on them maybe an ice cream scoop worth and was charged $13 a sandwich. Other times the sandwiches are nice and full so it is really a hit or miss experience with quantity. Delicious and unforgettable great tasting food! The brisket potato is my favorite and the chicken plate is addictive! I have tried the tasty sliced brisket sandwich and it was delicious! The Waller dog was ok but not my favorite. Try it though, you may really like it. You won’t know unless you try it. You don’t have to drive far to get great barbecue food!!
