“We ended up at this location on Christmas day after a last minute change of plans. This was a great experience for our family. The restaurant was super clean (including the bathrooms), the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we left with happy bellies! The staff seems to genuinely enjoying working here and with one another, which is refreshing to see. Highly recommend this location!“

“We had a chance to get some hot and delicious breakfast at River Oaks Cafe.
We love to visit mom and pop family oriented restaurants. We enjoyed the delicious omelet with toast and hot coffee and the huge pancakes with eggs , hash browns, and ham!!!! We enjoyed talking to the staff and learning more about the cafe.
We saw military and police officers eating there. I love the way they honor our fallen soldiers they have a wall with their pictures on it. This was a great place to visit, and the service was awesome!!!!!Please stop by and enjoy spending time with a great team, Racey, Daniel, and The Roc!!!!

“Updated review: district manager called, unfortunately I ordered through a 3rd party delivery service so they do not guarantee freshness it’s a different policy unless you order from their website or app. So I won’t order via 3rd parties again. And John credited me $50 to my member account which I appreciated although I’m not one to ask for favors, along with a phone call explanation. I would highly recommend ordering directly from Snap so when there’s issues, they can resolve them adequately. Updated rating since they really tried their best.

I ordered $101 to be exact, worth of meals for the week online. And then I realize today (the very next day) they all expire the DAY I ordered them. Every single one of them. So I paid to take their scraps off their hands I guess. Just terribly rude and not considerate to a paying customer to give them what should have gone in the trash.

“Stayed at a hotel within walking distance and decided to give this place a try. Walking in, none of the guys in my group were blown away by the selection or appearance of the donuts (we're all used to more extravagant options at trendier places). We all decided independently to grab a donut to tide us over until we could drive to someplace flashier. I saw some square donuts, which appeared to be the most exotic of the offerings, so I went for that. Turned out, they were croissant donuts, which I've had several times at several other donut shops with varying levels of quality and deliciousness, usually with fancy toppings or fillings. The very nice lady behind the counter popped it in a bag and added some glazed donut bites. Outside as we were getting ready to walk back to our hotel, I broke off a few pieces to share with my buds, and every one of them went back to get one of their own. The donut was light and had a slight crisp, as most good cronuts do, and without a filling, was so moist and almost creamy (presumably the dough was layered with glaze), it melted in your mouth. The flavor and texture were 10/10 perfect. We tried many foods over the few days we were in the DFW area, but nothing as memorable and delicious as this unassuming donut shop in a little strip mall near our hotel. I'd absolutely go out of my way to get these donuts again.“

“Guys this place is so CUTE!! The service was attentive and friendly. We visited during happy hour which is from 7-9 amA. M. daily, I think. I got 2 breakfast tacos for six dollars... can't beat that! The tacos were delish! DH got the chicken breakfast sandwich and he said it tasted good. The other people at the table got the chicken and waffles. They both enjoyed them. During happy hour mimosas are $3 so again prices are on point! If I am up early and have the time I would def eat here again. BTW… the coffee wasn’t that great. I will try one of the lattes next time.“

“We had breakfast here this weekend and the food was delicious! The cafe de olla was good, I liked that it wasn’t too sweet. But no fee refills so that’s a bummer. The chilaquiles were great! The salsas had a good level of spice to them and the meat was really flavorful. The Gansito pancakes were also great. All the portions here are pretty big so they’re great for sharing. They also gave us free mini concha’s for they’re anniversary! They only do counter service which is kinda weird, so you have to order and pay first then they’ll bring you out your food, but we had plenty of people check on us throughout our meal so it really wasn’t an issue. Would definitely come back again!“

“Again, after a Friday night high school football game, where to eat this late? We stopped by Waffle House (open 24 hours) and had a quick, simple breakfast-for-dinner meal. I love breakfast food any time of day!

We ordered a simple All Star Special and a Texas Bacon Cheesesteak Melt. Both came very promptly and were spot on. This place has an amazingly efficient system and they are remarkably consistent across locations, and I have visited MANY in very diverse locations across multiple states even. This location was clean, pleasant, and our server Andrew was one of the most spot-on, polite, informed, and responsive employees of any chain I have encountered.

The items we ordered were probably as expensive as they get here, and with two drinks, our entire bill was $26. Not at all bad, and I didn’t have to cook/clean late at night!

I recommend this chain in general and this location specifically for a reasonably priced, quick turn-around meal. In this category, I’m giving them high marks.

“The food was very good. The waitress was sweet and nice but wasn't in any kind of a rush to work. We were immediately seated by the host and she asked us if we knew what we wanted to drink and she would get it for us. So we ordered our drinks. Then within a minute the waitress showed up with the drinks and asked if we were ready to order. We asked her to give us a couple of minutes. You know a couple means 2, right? Well 10 minutes later she comes back to get our order. After that it was pretty good the rest of the time. The building looks old inside and could use better pest control. Over all pretty good, I'd go back again.“

The table and floor were not up to my very high standard of cleanliness for restaurants, but the impeccable service and excellent food prep/presentation more than made up for it.
