“I ate breakfast at the Waffle House in Watauga, TX (Unit #2388) and I enjoy it! They were extremely busy, but they were very customer friendly and aware of the wait time. They kept things moving as best as possible. Savanah was my server and she was attentive, friendly, and quick.“

“I met a friend here on a Saturday afternoon, and we expected it to be chaotic, but it was busy in a manageable way. We found a table after waiting a few minutes and ordered iced drinks along with a shared pasta. The drinks came first and were refreshing, though mine could’ve been slightly colder. The pasta arrived later than expected, and we almost checked on it, but it came just in time. It was warm and filling, nothing too fancy but satisfying. What I appreciated was that we didn’t feel rushed to leave, even after sitting for quite a while.“

My daughter is a big fan of their Very Berry French Toast. We always end up with a smile in our face and obviously would recommend this place to anyone in the area that hasn’t had a chance to try it. We have always received fast and friendly service and have had zero issues with the quality of the food. Dynamite place. Updated March 20th 2026... “My friend and I have been to this brunch spot before the rebrand and really enjoyed the quiet, cozy atmosphere and food, so we decided to come back! We ordered the chicken fried chicken and the Rodeo Burger (and my friend was told he was the 2nd customer to try it as it was a newer item). Everything was delicious, 10/10!

Our server, Yasmin, was super attentive and cheery, making us feel at home, helped us choose what to order when we were stuck between multiple options, and checked up on us multiple times to make sure we needed anything and were enjoying ourselves. The cinnamon roll caught our eye last minute, and we were told that the last one was just sold but that there was a possibility of a pecan version still available, so of course we said yes to trying it. “I posted a Google review and the restaurant responded but I can't respond back to them on Google, so here's me response: Don't try to blame delivery for your weird rubbery eggs and half cooked potatoes. When I sent a picture of the food to people, the response from most of them was something along the lines of "those are eggs?!" And I didn't say you used boxed pancake mix, I specifically accused you of using boxed confetti cake mix (without the confetti) for your pancakes. It smells exactly the same and I couldn't take more than 1 bite because they were so disgusting. Here is my original review: I got food through Uber. The egg scramble tasted good but the texture was rubbery. The potatoes were only half way cooked so they were soft on the outside and dense on the inside. The pancakes were flat and absolutely disgusting. Somehow they taste like Tylenol... Have no idea how that happens. We ordered orange juice and strawberry lemonade, and the lemonade was missing but that could have been a delivery issue. Edit: I figured out why the pancakes taste so off. They were made with store bought cake mix. They smell exactly like the store bought confetti cake powder. And here is their response: Good Morning Stephanie, I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your take out meal. I can understand that you may not like the taste of our pancakes but I can assure you we do NOT use store bought pancake mix for our pancakes. Unfortunately, once the order leaves our restaurant we can't control what happens to it or how long it takes to get delivered to you which can affect the quality of the meal. Thanks so much for your understanding.“

“My roommate and I go to this iHop all the time, as when I’m off work, we usually have nowhere else to go. And they’re fantastic! However, an experience I had tonight drove me to write a review.

I’ve worked in “fast food”/dining before, so I understand the pressure a team can face when a sudden rush occurs— and I absolutely understand that an iHop being busy at 12:30am is going to be unexpected. So, when my roommate and I dined in tonight, while the service was amazing, our food tonight wasn’t up to standard. We conveyed this to our waiter (who was very sweet) and she promptly got her manager. I gave him the same story, and he refunded the whole meal (even parts I said I was more than willing to pay for).

This experience really highlighted how wonderful this iHop’s staff is, even when they’re experiencing the given unexpected rush. I hope that the rest of their night goes much better than it is right now, and that they know we will be coming back soon!“
