“Stopped in C Maries after eating lunch at the mexican restaurant next door.. Their sign says cupcakes and I have actually had cupcakes from them before and they were good. And this time (although their cupcakes looked good) we actually bought a few of their cakepops which were really good. They had a customer in their picking out or designing a wedding cake, but they were very nice and helpful to us.“

The inside is adorable and is a great grab-and-go dessert option after eating/shopping in Southlake Town Square. The cookies are expensive, but fully worth it for the quality! We ordered a pack of 4 ($16.50) and added one extra cookie. Our chosen flavors were Croissant, Stuffed French Toast, Honey Butter Biscuit, Banana Pudding, and Salted Caramel. Our favorite was the Croissant cookie!! It was unbelievably delicious and so unique. MUST ORDER! Close second for us was the Stuffed French Toast. Already looking forward to my next visit!“

“This place has that old Victorian coffee bakery shop vibes. Walking in and getting that auto feel of needing coffee and a pastry. Ordered a double espresso with a cream cheese brownie at 3:45 in the afternoon. While waiting, I was surrounded by the atmosphere of wonders. Especially a neat design of coffee mugs on the wall. The only wish I had if they had a mini mug for the espresso. But the pricing for everything is perfect.“

“I ordered a chocolate cake for my mom’s birthday. The cake was fresh, delicious and beautifully decorated. My mom and sister loved the cake and they make everything from scratch. My sister especially loved the icing. I will definitely reorder from this bakery.“

“We ordered an 8" round red velvet cake for my son's 40th birthday on a short 2-day notice and said they didn't need to do anything fancy with the icing. I spoke with Sharon when I placed the order, and she was very helpful and kind. She said they would get it done with no problem; it was quite a relief. The day I picked it up, the staff was friendly, and the store was clean and cute. We were so pleased with the way it looked; they added extra touches to the icing. Everyone loved the cake; it was delicious and very moist. Next time, we may need a bigger cake. :-) We will be buying all of our (Fort Worth family) cakes from Creative Memories from now on and will definitely be recommending them. Wish we had Creative Memories in Houston.“

“This bakery is used by a member of the Dallas chapter of DAR. My daughter raved about the cakes at their meetings and for her birthday, she asked if we could have a marble cake from Texas Star. I've never bought a birthday cake in my life, so I figured it was time. So for my little girls 38th birthday, she finally got a bought cake! I told them to make it an Easter decorated marble cake. Festive and fun. It was all we hoped it would be. Tons of buttercream icing and super moist, delicious cake. I made the long trek to pick it up (about 50 miles) and it was ready as promised. They were slammed because it was the Saturday before Easter and the staff was friendly and helpful with all the people showing up to get all the Easter goodies! Thanks Texas Star!“

“Stopped in this mall for a coffee and wondered into Susie's Cakes. Oh my! So glad we did! What an assortment. We left with a slice of lemon cake that was so big we had more than enough for two people! The frosting was a fresh buttercream and the layers were filled with lemon curd, absolutely heavenly! The cake itself was very moist and dense and so refreshing to taste like a homemade cake and not a box mix! I only wish we had a Susie's in Wisconsin! Reason to plan another trip to Texas just to eat cake!“

“We could not have imagined going with any other vendor for our cake and desserts for our wedding. The owner met with us at both the first and final meetings, she’s very straight forward and accommodating.In addition to the smaller two tiered cake (lemon cake with raspberry filling cream cheese icing), we got salted caramel apple pies to represent my husband was from New Hampshire and Buckeyes to represent that I was from Ohio. The buckeyes were something new for them…and they NAILED it! These Buckeyes tasted like home…and if we ever have an event that calls for it again, we know where we’ll be going!The cake and desserts were a hit! “This is an authentic "panadería" with all the classics from "conchas" to "orejas" and tasty chicken and pork tamales on the weekends. We used their custom cake service for our baby shower and they really came through with two beautiful cakes exactly how we designed them and tasting great. “Went here a while ago and I was in love with this place! Their ice creams are just amazing! We ordered their signature Oreo Overload which had vanilla ice cream, oreos, chocolate chips, and chocolate fudge! They mix it in front of you and then serve it in a waffle bowl or a simple bowl. The ice cream was just so good! Makes me want to go back! The service was quick and they made sure to mix the creations separately for people with allergies! So make sure to inform them if you have any! Definitely going back!“
