I have had the opportunity to see his operation from the fire pits in the back, kitchen, and have always been highly impressed with the cleanliness of his facility. That speaks volumes to the importance of not just quality taste, flavor blending of smoke wood meats, but to the importance of food safety. I would highly recommend stopping by and trying the food for yourself as the flavor of mesquite smoked meat is tantalizing to the taste buds, the atmosphere is very friendly/inviting, and the service the best! “Fajita steak shish ka bobs!!! Do I need to say more? The location I went only had 5 cars in the parking lot when I showed up. On a SATURDAY night.... had me slightly suspect... but I checked the reviews and it had 4 stars so I had to try it. I wanted something I hadn't had at other Mexican restaurants in my state, so I tried the Steak Shish ka bobs. Whew!!! They were REALLY REALLY good!!! Such a nice variation from the typical. Server was nice and friendly which just made everything better.“

“The two young men taking food orders are very respectful and polite! The barbacoa is the cleanest and tastiest barbacoa I’ve had in a very long time. The tortillas are hechas a mano. The atmosphere feels like you’re eating at a stand in Mexico with good music that’s not overly loud playing. The food and service is the best we’ve had in a very long time! Definitely a must try. Don’t pass up on it. The consomé is great too, they use carne de borrego which was very good too! I wish I took pictures but we just got straight to eating.“

“We came to the stockyards in Fort Worth, drove from Dallas and new to the area. We asked an employee from the stockyards and this place was recommended. “CASH ONLY. The rolled tacos are a delicious common staple from Coahuila. You eat in your car and people-watching is fantastic ?. The truck arrives around 7. Don't be surprised if they are not ready to sell at 7 as they are setting up. The drink menu is limited to just coke, Pepsi, Sprite, Dr pepper and Fanta but you can walk across the street to the little Mart for more options.

Scratch made tortillas flour and corn, all very traditionally made recipes from fresh products. But WOW my mouth was on fire. I only knocked the atmosphere because it's in a gas station. Which I knew, but wanna also pass that along as well. If you don't speak very good Spanish, just know that you are going to a traditional Mexican grill .The lady who takes your order is who cooks your order as well. She'll help you decide what you want, because the menu is in Spanish. You want American Mexican food, head to taco bell and eat processed fast food.
