“Three of us friends arrived at the restaurant and sat on the patio due to the fact that it was a lovely evening. The wait staff came out and brought us our food and I believe at one point the manager also came out and greeted us. We had some very typical dishes, spaghetti, garlic bread, and my friend had another Italian dish. One friend had wine and two of us had a mixed drink. Our bill came out and it was quite expensive. So we talked about how we did not feel like the price matched the quality or the taste of the food/drinks. I do hope that this local restaurant will make it. I do love supporting a local restaurants. But I was not wowed by the quality or the taste of our Italian food. I hope somebody else has a better experience otherwise. The wait staff was lovely. “Small restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating; 5 tables inside. The food was outstanding. The service was incredible and I loved being able to peek into the kitchen through the window to see your food being made right in front of you. I ordered Tricolore and it was penne pasta with spinach and tomatoes with a white sauce. It was good, but not 10/10. My husband ordered Gambrini (I might be spelling it wrong) and it was out of this world. The focaccia and the balsamic vinaigrette were also amazing, We will absolutely be back!

Vegetarian options: There were plenty of vegetarian options. I'm not vegetarian but I don't eat a lot of meat. I chose a vegetarian plate (Tricolore) and was happy with it. My husband ordered a shrimp dish (Gambrini) and I didn't try the shrimp, but the pasta was out of this world on his plate.“

The owners and the staff were very friendly. You can tell that they take the time to take care of your food and to make sure that you feel very welcomed. “I ate here today for the first time. My only complaint is I didn't eat here sooner. Everything I had was amazing. This is the best Italian food I've had in DFW and it's not even close. The Brushetta Capris, was amazing the freash mozzarella cheese with basic and some balsamic paired with a jucy tomato and toasted bread was a perfect apatizer 10/10. The chicken marsala was a great balance of savory and sweet. The deserts were out of this world especially the pistachio cake. I will recommend this place to anyone who likes Italian food. Very surprised with the amount of selections they had for food (meat ravioli was delish) Val was our bartender and made the whole experience top tier. Very friendly and we were all chatting for the good time we were there. But, beware cause they will roast you when you pronounce words wrong ? adding this to our pit stop whenever we’re back in DFW area.“

We ate there very frequently but all the sudden one of the waiters decided to start making a big deal over my 76 year old mother ordering off the kids menu since they don't have a senior menu, and for my 2 kids ordering off the kids menu. They're 12 & 13. The age was no where on their menus or website. After they started to make a problem out of it we pointed out that nowhere was an age listed on anything so they wrote it on marker on their menus. Strange hill to choose to battle on, that you'd rather give up customers that ate there 1-2 times a week over the ages on kids meals. It's kind of ridiculous. Ive never seen a restaurant care. Either way, that was it for us. The kids were really upset. They loved going there.“

“Our daughters recommended we celebrate our anniversary here. We had an amazing experience! Everything was superb. The entire staff was very friendly. Our waiter Caleb went above and beyond! The manager Cathryn, chefs Landon and Frankie made sure they added a special touch to our anniversary dinner. The food is bursting with flavor. The appetizers are so delicious I couldn't stop craving more. The Tiramsu was a perfect bow to a wonderful presentation. We will be returning soon to try the Charcuterie Board. “Joe's Pizza is a Southlake area restaurant that has been serving NYC style pizza for many years. It's a casual restaurant with many large tables, a testimony to all the youth sport groups coming in to share a slice. We have been going to Joe's for 18 years, and their pizza is always delicious. Their Italian main dishes are very generous, so unless you are feeding growing teens, think about splitting a salad and a main dish. I love their spaghetti and all beef meatballs. My son always orders their garlic knots. If you're in the mood for pizza, then head over to Joe's. You'll feel like you're in a NYC pizza parlor.“

“Moni's pizza is the very best in town. I ordered my pizza through the Slice App and they messed up my order. When I got home with my pizza and realized that it wasn't what I ordered, I contacted them and they we so nice about it and did everything to correct the problem. They went over and beyond to fix the situation to my satisfaction. I will never use the Slice App again because they only credited 30%of my money back. They made sure they kept their portion. I just sliced the Slice App from my phone. I will never order pizza from anywhere else except Moni's. Staff are wonderful and the Pizzas are delicious!“

“We have been here many times and usually go for my birthday. It’s the place I always pick. It never disappoints. It’s a small restaurant that doesn’t care about mass producing food to serve high volumes of customers. Everything is extremely fresh and is prepared by the order. Yes, it’s more than all the bad chain restaurants, but you get what you pay for. I’ve had the quail, Buffalo mozzarella, and Italian sausage appetizers. They are all so good it’s hard to choose. I’ve had fish, multiple Buffalo cuts, the filet, ribeye, bone in ribeye, etc. it’s all amazing. Can’t wait to go back.“

“Stopped by with a family member, after taking our kids to Gammil Park and we were super impressed! It’s normally a little out of the way from where we live, but we both agreed that we’d make it a point to stop in (at least) once a month. Between us, we ordered chicken Alfredo pasta, 2 pizza slices, 1 calzone, and spaghetti with meat sauce. The portions were big and each dish was so delicious! Definitely excited to go back and bring friends.“

“We heard Louis Prima singing through the outdoor speakers as we approached the door, and the music softened inside. The hostess led our party of 5 to a table deep into the seating area after adding a high chair for the little one.
We ordered drinks and they were brought quickly while the menus were perused. Food orders were taken, and in a short time we were enjoying our chosen fare.
Our waitress, Shana, was warm and efficient. She returned more than once to refill drinks and see if anything else was needed. Our party stayed at the table for some time, enjoying the conversation, but Shana remained attentive.
I was disappointed with the reinvented lasagna. I've always judged lasagna by the OG standard because it had been the perfect example of how lasagna should be. But now they've downgraded it to pretty much like all the other soupy layers. I expressed my disappointment to the manager when she dropped by and she explained that the decision had been to shorten the cooking time.
Prices have gone up again since my previous visit, but what else is new?
It was a good experience overall, but I might need to find a new place to assign as my lasagna standard bearer.“
