My wife and I were looking for a place to eat on the way home from staying in Dallas for New Years Eve. We came across Big Al's Down The Hatch on Google Maps and decided to check it out. We did not know until we were there that we realized the connection to The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show. We walked in and did not really know what to do, so we just chose a table and sat down. As a new resident of Waxahachie I was very excited to try this place ! Especially since I had a gift card my realtor gave me to use as well . Me and my fiancé went last night during their Christmas Day dinner hours , they provided a simple menu as I assume maybe not a full kitchen team working etc and make things easy . We got some tasty drinks the angry pirate 🏴☠️ sweet but not over powering couldn’t taste much alcohol if any . The burger for me was amazing ! Fries...
The burger seemed like it was not patty'd in the house. Possibly frozen. The brisket sandwich was salty, and dry crumbs. The fries were house cut and great. Ranch and honey mustard on point. Will I come back though? Prob not.
